i personally love to interpret songs my own way. i know that this is not the actual meaning of "ghosting" though i wish i were someone more extroverted, and outgoing like the others. i really want to be one of them. i am tired of making new friends just to end up losing them at the end of the school year because i ghost them to protect my own feelings because i feel overwhelmed when i am friends with more than 2 or 4 people. i want to keep my circle small, but i feel like this time it is getting smaller because of me, and there is no going back. sometimes i want to be alone but i just end up feeling lonely because i push everyone away and this is my fault but i still convince myself that it isn't my fault. i am tired of hearing people complain about their friends not ever responding to them, as if they even tried to check up on them to see what the actual problem is. i am tired of my best friend passive agressive's way of telling me things i already know and hated myself for those things, like not being able to confront people or "just say no" to someone. i try my best, but i always end up isolating myself, i truly think this is self-sabotage. maybe i am the problem. i will become a better person and i will always put myself first.

I know they're better without me, but my selfishness ends up bringing me to a chaotic back and forth until they leave themselves; which makes me feel dopey by always thinking they will in the first place. The biggest war is yourself. Mostly the war involves knowing your better than your thoughts, and you aren't them.

I have recently learned what this term "ghosting" is used for. I think it may be a sign of the effects this perfect image social media paints. People's lives can be messy there's no benefits in portraying something else or hiding from people because of it. I'd much rather get to know someone who understands struggle, who's honest. Imperfections are what make someone special, makes them feel genuine. Life is suffering sometimes.....and without it JoY just wouldn't hit the same. ❣Don't be discouraged darlings. Xo
