I lost my beloved Hananese, Fidel, almost a year ago; and I still cry when I think of him. I want to get another one, but not quite sure I'm ready.
Melisa Baize I lost my Havanese too, his name was also Fidel. 6 weeks ago he crossed the Rainbow Bridge. My life will never be the same.
There is simply no rushing grief after the loss of a loved one... whether with fur or without. Someday you'll be ready to open your heart again and you'll know when the time is right for you.
