I think you might be on the money regarding Hojlund IRL, with Gyökeres, if you watch any Sporting match, even if someone passes him the ball, if they don't play a decent ball on his feet, or a good through ball so he can sprint into the space behind the opponent's lines he's gonna be talking shit to his team mates, so they always try to get him some good balls. But I get him not being like that because he's young and there are a lot of selfish players at Utd, and all with more status in the squad. So, the game actually has this thing where some attributes are only relevant for some positions. You keep talking about 'Positioning' regarding offensive players, but (and the game only tells you this via tips) Positioning only matters for defensive positions, for offensive positions the attribute that is the mirror for it is 'Off the Ball'. So if you want to know how good your offensive players are in terms of position look for a high stat in that attribute. Because you're gonna easily notice that almost no offensive player has a good 'Positioning' stat, unless they're one of those highly versatile midfielders or wingbacks that are excellent in both offense and defense, so that would mean no offensive player is good at getting a good position and we all know that would be crazy if true.

Haha, that Coates goal was deserved, he was a beloved team captain at Sporting and left this Summer for his formation club in Uruguay, Nacional Montevideo, with a gentleman's agreement between him and Sporting's board. It was good for both sides as he still had 1 year of contract left, but something personal came up for him and his family and he wanted to help Nacional before he got too old and tired. Sporting fans were left devastated and unsure as Coates only made his decision after the pre-season started and he had been on track for another 1 year contract extension, but the club brought Zeno Debast in as his replacement and he's been great, despite having had some bumps with a few costly mistakes in some important matches. He's still like 20-21 years old and with a ton of room for improvement, Coates himself also made lots of mistakes in his first season and he was a very experient player already at the time.

You can absolutely offer a loan back when buying a player, in the club offer screen go to "add clauses" and there should be an option to leave the player at his club on loan.

Markus I know you might not care as I know some people don't but on your contracts let's use Diomande as an example You are paying him 190k a week plus 31.5k per appearance a week. you can normally remove the appearance fee and it raises the weekly fee by 10k or so. Not a lot but when you add that up over every contract especially when you factor in European games and cup games it really raises the salary count. so even if it's for a future save it might be something to look at. I tend to use goals and assists bonuses to keep the weekly wage down as it "motivates" players to hit end-of-season targets. got it off my chest now I'll shhh. loving the series man and can't wait for even more episodes.

a Usefull advice/tip; @the deep lying playmaker is a really nice lad who is able to explain players roles like encanche (?) , the poacher, defensive midfielder and all that kind. He is, I think, very good in explaining those roles besides that, if possible, he will tell which player/ which role will play nicely together. I have had much over his explaining. Easily explained.
