Have seen versions with ancient stirrings that seem good, think they often replace karn. Sideboarding is always difficult with Karn 😂 I side him out against fast decks. Also, good to bring in some of the artifacts usually, just to naturally draw I think, but yes is hard!

Ah yes could well be here! I do like being able to tap an opponents land or generate an extra mana, depends what will come up more often I guess

@@nickbmtg I think the best way is to play the threat on turn 2º, cascade on 3º e go away like this strategy. Remember phlage and Murk are wonderful, but u have so many treath in a deck, sub for example that interaction with the opponent and make pressure on board. U realy need another traeth in a deck??

What u think about murktide version??

I like it, murk is a great backup plan. Need to play more to see which version is best, possibly depends on the meta. I do like not having to top deck leyline!

@ I have a list for oculus that I’ve been working with but just in general will give me the knowledge I need. Hardest part for me is knowing when to board in the monostary mentors and the exorcises I have. More than happy to share a deck list if you’d like

Yea quite enjoying it! I know what you mean, prowess definitely looks really strong. There does seem to be quite a few decks I want to try, the tolarian terror ones and mono white tokens are next on the list.

Emrakul is usually there to bring in against Mill, as it shuffles your library back in.

Yea the card is everywhere at the moment! Think most full control decks want it, but there are more tempo style decks like Murktide that don't.

Hey - I have played a bit of Jeskai control, but haven't actually tried Boros... Should probably give it a try, just to get a look from the other side. Lots of things to try in Modern at the moment, of the top decks though i'm quite liking Goryo's.

@@nickbmtg Sick. I'd recommend trying Boros, although it isn't your usual kind of combo deck, it is actually really fun and I think that contributes pretty significantly to its popularity and "staying power" in the metagame. Also, I've seen some weird Domain Zoo lists with Leyline+Scion, Bowmasters, Ajani and Frog. It's a weird list but it's basically just playing all the most busted creatures. Really interesting.
