We are two retired couples that live in Gatlinburg, Tennessee, Sandra, Sharon, Rob, and Terry.
Sandra and Terry live in downtown Gatlinburg most of the year and Panama City Beach in winters.
Sharon and Rob live on the east side of Gatlinburg most of the year and enjoy the #VanLife part-time
Every year the four of us find ourselves on some adventure to the desert or the west coast or just about anywhere we can imagine.
All that to say, “We eat out a lot!” So we’re always asking, what’s a good place to eat? This vlog space is about our humble opinions and experiences at the places we eat.
Also expect to meet our regular accomplices Sammy, Debbie, Gwen, Mary, Cindy, Lenny and a whole bunch of others you’ll meet along the way.
Pilonis Italian - Terre Haute *Excellent*
This is a short review of Pilonis in Terre Haute. My cousins Gloria and Tina and Tina's husband John join us. If you are just passing through and looking for really good Italian food this is a solid option! I had the rack of lamb and it was phenomenal!

Cakes-N-Creams Fifties Diner - Branson, MO

This is a cool fifties themed diner on the strip in Branson. The food menu is pretty basic but everything we had was really good. The dessert menu is HUGE! Check it out if you're in Branson.
Lamberts - Throwed Rolls - Sikeston MO

We stopped in to checkout Lamberts in Sikeston. The food was great and the throwed rolls was an interesting touch. Service was also fantastic.
The Peddler - Gatlinburg's BEST Steakhouse?

Gatlinburg has some serious contenders for best steakhouse and the Peddler has certainly earned its way into one of those top places. Located on River Road at the south end of town the Peddler has ample on-site parking. The Peddler is at the high end of pricing for Gatlinburg but don't let that scare you away. The Peddler has great quality food and we've always had great service here too.
Smith and Son Scratch Kitchen - Gatlinburg

Smith and Son is a beautiful restaurant in downtown Gatlinburg. The restaurant has a wonderful brick decor with tons of artifacts from and about the area. They have comfortable inside seating and 2 decks with seating that give you a great view of downtown to watch people walk by. The food we hd was great and priced similar to most other downtown Gatlinburg restaurants.
Gondolier Italian - 19 locations Southeast US

El Soñador - Gatlinburg’s Hidden Mexican Grill

This is one of our favorite Mexican grills in downtown Gatlinburg. Even though it’s located right downtown it’s also kind of hidden. It’s located at 458 Parkway but hidden behind the Gatlinburg Brewery. It’s on the top floor of the Carousel Mall. elsonadormexicangrill.com 865-325-0828

Solorzanos is a fantastic Italian eatery in Gatlinburg. There are only a few Italian places in downtown Gatlinburg and Solorzanos is definitely a contender! Looks very fattening, I can see how you wouldn't leave hungry
It was very good.
My niece & her husband owns that. They put their heart & soul into it and when purchasing it the previous owner had the same crew like forever & they all decided to stay. It's rare you find a restaurant on the beach with team members that has been there over 10 - 15 yrs. It just had electrical fire day b4 4th and they are working hard to get it back going!! They also own CoCo Locos they have the pineapple drinks. Great review!!!
It’s a great place and we hope they get up and running very quick. We live right down the street in the winter.

I was at the location in Sevierville a few years ago and ordered the lasagna, and it still had the plastic wrap on it, UNDER the sauce. NOPE!

I somewhat agree with you. We still end up eating there when they re-open in February. I think the Wharf might be the same price. I really can’t think of any other AYCE crab places in the area.
The chicken pot pie is enormous! Everything looks delicious! This is my kind of cooking! Yum! Please don't bounce a roll off my forehead! 🤣 Thank you for bringing us along!

Was in the town years ago on the way to Milwaukee to see family.At the motel they told my dad about this place.Unfortunately we couldn't get in, it was packed.So we went to I think it was Ponderosa Steakhouse which was really good.This was back in the 1980s.

Don’t pay attention to the haters. Yes it’s very expensive and a special treat for most people. We don’t eat there very often and sometimes just stop by and get the salad bar.

We love Ruby Tuesday’s salad bar. We’ll go often after donating blood and get steak and salad with lots of spinach to start replenishing our iron.

I hate that it’s a 5 minute walk from my place, but I love it too.
I love Capt Jack's. Go for crablegs and the pineapple ice cream. I have never been to the one on Thomas Dr, always the one on Front Beach Rd.
The one on Front Beach isn’t usually open while we are there. I remember being there many many years ago and it was the same as the one on Thomas Dr back then.
Ain't bad price cool place..
The food can be hit and miss but it’s a cool atmosphere and a short walk from most downtown hotels.

We really liked it. We don’t live too far away but there are a ton of hotels in the area. I didn’t answer your previous question but yes Dolly is from this area.
