It actually is not the start, but the difference. A song I am working on. The recording sounds a bit better than this, and doesn't have that audio hiccup at the beginning. But this I improvised the bass lines to the synth sounds I already had.

I was able to get the Wither and Warden to go at it. Though the Wither went through several Wardens before I got the nerve to help out and shoot arrows at the Wither while it was trying to get the Warden. I mean it isn't technically film and animation, though it is both. It is a game, but I like to make games into movies. The music is my own: soundcloud.com/neaituppi/the-next-voodoo-plane

I am working on a song, and did this solo. I wasn't sure what I would do, but once I got going, I went free jazz ballistic. It is only part of the song, which is like ten minutes long. But I will sometimes not do more takes if I like the feel, tone and phrasing. This one made me feel like when I first saw Jimi Hendrix play Johnny B Goode live at Berkeley. I saw it on TV when I was a teenager. T...

      Is the disk full? Do you know how to check if your C: drive is full? Several years ago, with cakewalk, I found that my cakewalk cache had nearly 600 GBs of saved information in it. Which I no longer needed. I was down to a hundred mbs of space on my disk, and then I found that. I deleted everything in the cache, which you don't need, they are just files stored there. But don't effect current projects.

    • @neaituppi7306
      @neaituppi7306 Рік тому

      No, I just stopped using Neural DSP. I think you may need to hear how good some of the free plugins sound, or the less expensive ones. Here is one of the several things I have done since trying out Neural. And that was done like this video, with no postproduction. There are more songs I can show you that I have done and mastered on my audio system, and the free plugins you can get for your DAW. That "Noodling on Neural dsp." Your guitar playing is fine, I can see you are just learning, but you have some skills so far. but the sound quality of the plugin, has that same crappy tone to it, it has on this video. Maybe you can't hear it on your laptop system. Some plugins sound good and some don't, but it really sucks when you had to pay $100 or more, when you could have gotten a better sounding one for free. ua-cam.com/video/l9ujF14Tiyo/v-deo.html

    Having owned multiple Neural plugins while using the bare minimum in terms of equipment, I have never had anything close to this poor of a sound, even when I was using a computer that barely had the CPU power to handle them. I am no expert, but could it be that your computer lacks the power to handle them?

      I would suggest recording and uploading a video of you playing the "distortion/gain" plugins like this, without any extra effects or any external Cab sim IRs, and not recording the audio through a DAW, so you can edit it later to sound good. record it through OBS, and an interface going into the plugin. That is about the same as just plugging straight into an amp and turning on the amp distortion. You get the raw sound of it.

    • @kevinneace9008
      @kevinneace9008 2 роки тому

      @@neaituppi7306 I'm exactly sure what you mean. I generally don't use any external IRs and haven't ever experienced this kind of sound since upgrading to a computer with a higher RAM size. I haven't even done a ton of creating my own presets in the plugins that I own, and I have never experienced anything like this, including the times I have used it outside a DAW. Does this only happen when you record in OBS or does it happen all the time?

      @@kevinneace9008 I had lost cakewalk sonar, when my computer went down. So I rebuilt everything in it. The mother board, the GPU the CPU, the power adapter. I recently found out from another musician that Cakewalk was now free from bandlab, instead of when it became a monthly rental fee. I just tonight tried it out, because I was having some problems with Audacity. And while doing some tracks, I found Cakewalk already had dozens of plugins installed on it, as well as it scanned for any vst plugins I had on he computer. And the sound of them is great, absolutely great. I put it on the track, a plugin window pops up, like the neural dsp one in this video, and I adjust the settings to what I need, but right from the start, it still sounds great. My Neural DSP license ran out today, but I no longer give a shit, because these free plugins work better. I am not even going to keep the ampworks install, I will just uninstall it. As far as you asking me, what I already explained, I don't know what to tell you, except, once again. I record all my music that is on my distrokid, that is released to UA-cam and Spotify and other stream platforms, I record all of it on this computer. This does not happen when I record in OBS and it does not happen all the time. It only has happened with this plugin. That is it! That is it. Here are some videos I recorded on OBS. This was more for education than a review. Which is why I put in under the education category. I have made two other videos with this plugin since. One where there was no post editing, but I worked with the plugin features. And another one where it is the same video, but I put the audio into a DAW and improved the sound. But even that, not as much as most reviews of these plugins do. I do not feel it is dishonest or false advertising. It is just normal for channels that want to make appealing videos, to edit them, both visually and audio to attract people. But you still don't really know what the plugin sounds like raw. I haven't had a ton of comments on this, but more than normal for me. And some have been alright. Trying to figure out if it is the plugin or my audio set up. But when it gets to the point of, "It has to be something wrong with your audio set up, because it cannot be the plugin." Then there isn't any room to talk. I know my set up, and I know I record all my music on it. It isn't a state of the art set up, like many of the Neural DSP review videos have. I can't really watch a video in 144p without it being work. I don't run my audio through a high-quality DAW while I am recording the videos, so I can edit and tweak them after. I record on OBS for indoor videos. I got a Tascam interface. But if people are just going to keep trying to talk about what they "think" is wrong with my audio, and not the plugin. I don't care for one sided conversation. If it gets insulting, which it already has with one person. The beauty of having your own channel and your own content, is you don't have to put up with unconstructive insults. Like you have to be able to play guitar, or know how to tune your guitar, or not sound like shit. There is a very clear difference between, "let's try and figure out what is going on, with this. " To; "You just don't know how to play guitar or use the plugin." And I will certainly not take any of that from anybody that has (NO CONTENT) on their channels. And the most negative comments for some reason have been from channels with no content. But I also appreciate the attention, because I usually don't get this.

I tried out the Tosin Abasi one when he was doing a contest to win his signature guitar, and free Neural dsp plugins, and it sounded the same as this Omega Ampworks Granophyre plugin. Like a cheap amp. The ten or so spotlighted winners of the contest, all had perfect audio quality, multi-angled video editing, and either already had Abasi guitars, or something in that $1600 price range.
