I loved my Brahmin too. Then unfortunately, before purchasing a wallet for my sister in law, found out that the majority of their bags are now made in CHINA. So all this 'Made in America' is a lie. Very disappointed. Perhaps now they can say "the finest bag made in China".

I have about 6 bags of these and the quality is SUPERB....people ask me all the time what's the brand....they look so expensive, timeless and beautiful...and is none of those italian names like yves saint laurent, givenchy, etc...... I feel special... people love my bag and no one has it!.....and also I have very good taste, I have a quality bag and so confident for what looks good and is great that I don't have to buy a name brand like givenchy to know is good. Brahmin is American :-)

There is "Ugg Australia" owned and made locally,and the other one "Ugg Australia" is owned by American footwear giant Deckers,manufactured in China and is more than $100 dearer. Some say the one made in china is better - from the soles, to the lining, the upper or surface of the boot, to the color-fastness and even the material its supposed to be made from....soooooo

Pity the ugg boots from the US-owned Ugg Australia brand are usually made in China. Always look for the place of manufacture before buying your uggs.... in this case ignore what the misleading brand label says.
