As part of Kendal walking festival I joined a 15 mile hike up 3 of Kendal's hills: Cunswick Scar, Scout Scar and the Helm. We had to cross the Kent and the old Lancaster Canal.

A walk to Low Sizergh farm

Walk along the Kent to Gunpowder Mills and then through the caravan site and woods. Back to the river and then return along the old Lancaster Canal.
Have been there last year, took a detour during my West Highland Way hike. Thx for sharing. brought back some good memories.
It’s a lovely spot. I want to walk the full Way sometime
