we had a flood i remember it never got to our house but was so close i remember staying home from school freaking out wondering if we had to go to the shelter. i was 15yrs old. this album when the storm comes down was playing all night in my headphones and walkman while playing my atari 800xl computer. ready to move it at a moments notice. my parents worried sister crying scared. very important album for me.

They sort of became a studio band after this time, wish they would of played live more often

I had no idea there was a video for this song.

I've been a fan of this band since I was 14. In an Atlanta convenience store, I found a tape of When the Storm Comes Down. The cover art really caught my attention. They were among my first favorite metal bands, and I've never discovered another musical style that I adore as much as metal. I'm 46 years old now, and I still enjoy Flotsam & Jetsam.
