Alan Parsons cover by me, I did the vocals, 12 string, keyboards, bass, and six string solos. Love AP's music... it takes me to another place, somewhere, some other time.

My Karaoke version of Alan Parsons classic. I do the vocals as a gift to my friends and family. Don't know what the future holds for me but this song expresses my feelings.

"Live Again" (Oopie's Song) Original Written in 1982 and performed by Johnny McGhee. I wrote this for one of my oldest and dearest friends after she helped me climb out of one of the deepest, darkest times of my life. I will be forever grateful. I finally have the ability to record it after all these years. All vocals and instruments by...me. :)

I wrote this song in 1972 during the war in Viet Nam. I was 17, graduating from high school and expecting to be drafted for Nam. Grew up in the 60's seeing the carnage on the news every night. Had several guys I knew, older than me, who went. Not all came home. Came to see 18 as a possible death sentence and wrote this song thinking of the possibility. Fifty years later, after doing 2 voluntary...

Looker (Practice) "Never Been Any Reason" cover.
for my lady Jamie
We used to do the long album version at our shows in a block with Turn it on Again, In Too Deep, and Afterglow. Props to the big "G".
Love doing my own solo's where it isn't critical to cover the original. Winging it live is more fun.
My heart is breaking but I take comfort in knowing that you will greet me on the other side with a song and a smile. ❤❤❤❤❤
Sadly beautiful.
Good stuff, John! 🎶
Thanks for defending my freedom. Despite what the politicians thought they were sending you to do, I know that was what you were doing. Thanks.
It was my honor to defend loyal Americans.
Sounds good, man! :)
One of my originals, I redid the video. All instruments and vocals by me. All pics (except the moon) by or of me.

Thanks to Looker's long time official photographer Ruth (Wydra) Matrulla for the great pics and vids.

This is Looker playing Freebird, 1st time in over 26 years.
volume in "The Kinks" jumps up at 29 seconds, just a heads up.
👏👏👏 Adorei! O grupo é muito bom e olha que não é gravação de stúdio! 👏👏👏
Thank you Very Much. :)
Bob had a nice little bass solo, wish he would have went longer. I was enjoying it. We always did a freestyle jam in the middle of those Kinks tunes... never knew where it would go but that's what made it fun.
Love the way Bernie follows my guitar solo with the drums, really adds to the feel. His drum solo is smokin' too.
You really got me but then you already knew that.
Thank you.
You're welcome!
Hey Johnny, can you post the lyrics here?
I watch another cloud slowly floating by, as I lay with my back to the ground and my eyes turned toward the sky. Now and then I see the sun but then it fades away. Now it's gone completely, I have seen the end of day . My life is ending now, had only just begun, when Uncle Sam reached out his hand and said we need you son. So grab your gun and lend a hand, fight these people here. Well kill em all and have a ball this is your final year. Why am I lying dying in a country I don't love. I feel my body as it drains of all its blood. Waiting for old man death to come and take me from this mud. There are no stars out tonight, the sky is cold and gray. I've seen my final sunset and I've seen the end of day. Why am I lying dying in a country I don't love. Now the pain's subsided I just lay and wonder why, some men have decided it's okay for me to die. Now my mind is going fast and I feel it slip away. Along with memories of the past I have seen the end of day. Why am I lying dying in a country I don't love? Why am I lying dying in a country I don't love.
Perfect!
Are you reading my mind again? I just put this song in my play list last night and here you are showing up on my page!😅

Same here, been a big Allan Parsons fan since the first album and his engineering work before that (got my attention from Dark Side of the Moon).

Well Johnny, that takes me back.

This is fantastic 😊💕 you rock John 💖
Love this ❤️
Nice job!

I was six years old and had a Roy Rogers guitar made out of cardboard with nylon strings. Dad was watching me and said to Mom "he's not just playing with it, he's playing it". They went and got me my first "real" guitar and music has been part of my life ever since. The next Christmas brought my first electric guitar and amp and I joined my first band. (the other guys were all 17). I played everything I heard on the radio and loved to sing and write songs. Entertained the parents at cub scout meetings, played for the Mayday celebration at my Philadelphia elementary school. Did concerts at assembly in junior high. I've met and worked with some amazingly talented people through music and I owe it all the love and support of my parents (and my big sister).
Always loved playing Genesis covers. Mucker smoked on the keyboard and Bernie ripped those drum fills in Afterglow. Genesis was always one of my favorite bands and being able to play their music due to the talent of my bandmates was priceless.
