That's a good question, I'd say the model was pretty spot on with it's design other than not having the sandals and the rune logo on the back of the cape. As for what I'd change on the paint job, I think maybe his skin should be a little lighter gray. I'm trying to figure out how to tweak this model into making his 2nd phase look, hopefully I can pull that off and bring you guys that version soon!

Thank you! Honestly I would but most of the stuff I make (including this one) uses files from other artists mixed with mine so I'm not sure I can sell them. The only 3d model I've made that's completely mine is the venom with wings from the game. That one I can sell lol

Thank you! I definitely don't regret getting into 3d printing/modeling. It takes a bit of getting used to and the machines don't always work as intended but you figure it out as you go lol. I used to use an Iwata Neo but a few months ago I upgraded to an Iwata Eclipse.

I usually use Vallejo Varnish through my airbrush. It comes in matte, gloss and satin. I use whichever one I need for each specific part. You can brush it on as well if you need to top coat smaller more intricate pieces.

Yea its a cool piece but honestly was a bit too steep in price for me personally. I was also saddened that it didn't come with a steel book and the art book was smaller than I would prefer. I miss when they used to make the big hard cover art books. Now you usually just get a digital one or a small 100 page book that just doesn't feel as good to hold.

Yea I took a gamble with that one and I ended up being right 😅 when I finally played the game I thought I got his skin color wrong since it looks to have more color, but then I saw a "closer look" video where they show the character model with a white background and his skin is indeed grey so I guess I was 2 for 2 haha

Unfortunately there's no way I can put this thing in a box without it breaking, the only way to get it to stand properly was to glue it all together, and it has so many tiny fragile pieces that will 100% break in transit. Most 3D printing resin is very brittle so the little bits like the snake's wings, the spear, the helmet, the fire effects, even the snake won't survive the trip.

Almost at 5k now, it's been gaiming a bit.of traction slowly. I've been doing the UA-cam grind long enough to be used to it lol it's still doing better than a lot of my older stuff so I see it as progress.

Lol me too trust me I wanted so badly to sculpt him some sandles but I fear my skills with 3d sculpting aren't quite there yet to make them blend in with the rest of the amazing sculpting going on with this guy. Miyazaki loves feet though so he would be proud.

I do have plans for a Mahoraga, I have the STL file for him already and everything. Although it might be a little while until I make him because he will be an "accessory" I guess to another figure I'll be making lol stay tuned!

I was thinking about it, but that logo is extremely detailed and would require a complicated stencil. Plus the Cape was not very flat and had lots of wrinkles and waves that would make placing a stencil properly very difficult, and if I didn't place it properly there's risk that the paint will bleed underneath and create a mess that would require me to repaint the entire cape again. It just wasn't worth the risk lol
