What a treat to listen to so many people with a connection to this place. In 1967 I visited Temecula to visit two relatives in what was a ghost town. Hearing a few references to Temecula excites me thinking someone here might remember Liz's Restaurant in Temecula. She was a relation on my father's side. So little was said and I was 11 years old but always wondered why these relatives lived in such a dusty, old place. If anyone here knows anything I would be grateful. And now there is a reason for me to visit Murrieta as its history was completely unknown to me before.

Take too long to give all the details but amazing how God brings together events in our lives. My mother was the nurse and exercise director when the two Jewish men took it over. I am now 77 and watched this video. I would go visit my mom at Murrietta Hot Springs with my two kids 1972 do the mud baths exercise and my mom would tell us about celebraties that had come through. I had been going to Calvary Chapel for several years. I didnt know Chuck Smith had bought the place and since I had moved So many memories of Chuck Smith and Calvary chapel What a blessing to be transported back to see what had come together. Thank you lord for showing me how you work.

It is sad to think that this specific area of Riverside County was taken from the indigenous people who lived throughout this valley. The indigenous of that area have used those waters for hundreds of years and this video makes it sound like this family discovered these waters.

My father used to hang out at Murrieta Hot Springs in the 20's and 30s. I have lots of old photos of the resort. Yes, it was a Jewish resort. He occasionally sang with a band there.

I worked there and lived in the condos next door from 2000 to 2006. My kids were raised there. Awesome place. It took about a year after moving away to be able to smell sulfur again. :) Great to see my friend Karl in the video.
