Adventure Country Tracks Pryenees 2024
Three of us set out from San Sebastion to complete the ACT Pryenees to the Med. Three became four as Des joined us part way through. From blazing Sun and dust to heavy rain to thick fog, we had it all.
Its not all off road and its all fairly easy but the views are fantastic, a well thought out multi-day ride.
A must for ADV riders.

Fantastic Spanish TET into Andorra up the Sumgglers route. Well worth going up. Weather was excellent at 24 at the bottom and 18 at the top almost no wind. Tenere 700 fully loaded with soft Mosko luggage wild camping all the way.

Nice 200 mile ride through some gentle lanes through mid to North Wales. Started at Shrewsbury across to Barmouth, Bala and back. Excellent weather and Wales was beautiful as always. Mudlife Adventure was the guide.

Passed by nice and slowly. Big bird indeed, snapped at me and my buddy. Wild animals, best leave them alone up in the mountains.

Put a Gopro Hero 9 on the rear of the Tenere T700 capturing the sound of the SP Engineering Demon 300mm Titanium exhaust and the rapid action of the rear suspension Has a 95Nm rear RR spring. Really makes a lot of difference. That exhaust sound is with the baffle in and is really sweet.

What a wally, the sign above that lane @00:01, clearly shows TAG. Why go into a lane, that is inaccessible! Plus he then makes it worse, by trying to sneak thro on another lane after a vehicle has gone thro! Then he wonders why the barrier comes down on his bike, if he had stopped, then asked the staff to raise the barrier because of his unorthodox approach, he mite have escaped, unscathed! As it was he clearly couldn't b bothered to wait, so he pulls back cracking his shield in the process, then surges forward, then he parks up! You couldn't make it up. What did he expect the toll operative to say..... It was his own fault, no one else's. Not a good role model for bikers, is it?

These bikes were lucky to put down 100whp. Tq was around 60+ft lbs. The dyno output in the description is 110rwhp and 68ft lbs at the wheel. That’s quite impressive for a 118hp 75ft lbs at the crank 15 year old sv. Plus the pc3 probably helped with the off idle spitting and the under 3500 rpm surging at city speeds(if your drive chain is properly adjusted).
@@MrMpm3001 I happened to get my sv tuned and I was lucky to make 100 HP at the wheel and 69 ft/lbs tq. At first I thought something was wrong since the specs from Suzuki mentioned 125 or so hp.
@@RubberChickenMan007 it’s more like 118hp at the crank. 110rwhp is about what the average bolt on sv1k seems to achieve with healthy internals. I have been on a quest to find power from mine as well. Unfortunately it’s more likely that another bike will be in order. Can’t beat i4 top end rush.
@@MrMpm3001 true to an extent. I feel the engine makes more tq than most unless it's a v4. I was a bit disappointed when I got this tuned.
@@RubberChickenMan007 yeah these bikes are fun. Good commuter and stop light brawler. Just gotta take it for what it is and look elsewhere for more performance at a budget. I’m looking for another bike (shitty market right now). I’ll keep the sv in the stable though. I like have multiple bikes to enjoy the different attributes they possess.
