    I like this. It's really beautiful with a really nice classical twist that sounds like it goes back to the past such as around around 1912 or even earlier which really makes it so way cool.

  • @shychameleon
    @shychameleon 11 років тому

    Sounds good but a touch timid. Practice your stage presence. Stand up there as if you mean business. Think about a skirt length just below the knee or longer and string players should never go sleeveless. The pros can get away with it (sometimes) but the audience shouldn't catch a glimpse off an armpit.

      duncan macmillan You’re right about other performers wearing less. I find it off putting and distracting. Even more if they’re a professional musician. What I enjoyed, other than her playing, was she wasn’t swinging about and over emoting. Something else I find annoying. Overall, an enjoyable performance.

      duncan macmillan It’s a joy to hear she’s progressed so far with violin. I’m from California and played viola for ten years and was on the same track as your daughter. Then I came to a fork in the road and put music aside (sigh). Years have gone by and I decided it’s time to get back into music. I started playing violin to work on my technique and am eager to get back to playing viola. I wish they had YT and smartphones when I used to play.
