How to replace ring binder mechanism instruction guide.
Faulty ring binder mechanism is a pain. Throwing away the whole planner because of a replaceable part makes no sense. There are many UA-cam videos showing how to replace the ring binder mechanism but either they were way too technical or downright violent with no happy endings.
Or maybe you just want to change that tarnished mechanism for a shiny new one.
Stationery.Life knows your frustration. We created the Ring Binder Mechanism Replacement Kit to make replacing the faulty ring binder mechanism in a planner simple. In this video, we will show you how you can change the ring binder mechanism without a Ph.D. in engineering.
You can order your Stationery.Life Ring Binder Mechanism Replacement Kit from Amazon. Available in Gold, Rose Gold, and Silver colors.

How to fix ring binder with gap
Переглядів 132 тис.9 років тому
Gaps do appear on ring binder rings sometimes. This does not mean it is "The End" for it. You can fix it within minutes. This video shows you how to do it yourself. If you feel that your fingers are not strong enough, you can ask your BF / DH to help :-)

Has anyone done this without poking holes straight through the binder and ruining it? I don't want to see the screws on the outside of the binder. I saw a reviewer on amazon did it but I didn't understand her explanation.

Its a 6 or 7 ring binder, 3 close at the top/bottom and 1 in the middle. Usually for a6 planners with that grouping, sometimes a5. My a5 only has 6 rings.

This is amazing and works, I've just put rings back in my A5 Malden after turning it into a tn and then deciding I wanted my ringed Malden back! the spine on the outside doesn't look great but that's because there's the holes for my elastics and the screw does go through the Filofax symbol but I'm happy as ive got my rings back and didn't have to spend another £80 to buy a new one!! Thanks Stationery Life.

You just have to use two pieces of wood, one for each end ring. In any case the middle ring is the least likely to gap.

Wow this actually works! I just used it on a big 3 ring binder, used a lotion bottle between the rings and a tshirt to cover my hands from pain, for grip and not getting scratched/cut. Since it's the bigger rings I just used my body weight to push down on the rings since my problem was one side of the ring being higher than the other, removed the bottle, closed the rings and now it's perfect!! Thanks!
