Great Explanation of bunions deformity
This is the correct video for model for Med Spec ASO Speed Lacer Ankle Brace worked great.
Im interested to know how the joints can still be flexed if they are fused by a metal plate ?
Don’t we understand how that happens? Isn’t it because of the structure of the foot? Forefoot supinateus and forefoot varus
Uh... no fukin thank you. Amputation is easier
I just got my my first bunion 8 weeks ago it's slowly growing, and it hurts so much when I walk on it. Also, it gets really swollen for 3 days . I have to walk on one side of my foot, and it is still very uncomfortable. My question is Will it stop hurting as soon as it fully grows ?
I am 15 yrs out from my bunionectomy. My surgeon never told me to stretch my foot, massage the scar...nothing. I have watched so many unhelpful videos like this one and am just coming on here to share this video with fellow people looking for relief - ua-cam.com/video/J_fWuNDQiNM/v-deo.htmlsi=dGvAwZYd28jyR7eg

I am 7 weeks post lapiplasty, my bunion was pretty severe, recovery has been worse when I started putting weight on my foot at week 6th. Lots of swelling , stiffness
Great video, moving forward on getting a surgery
I had to get one and I did not like it
Me thrusting down on Donna. She trying to get away, cause she does not like it.
Did you get this exact one or an ASO? Why did you not like it?
What a fantastic video! Thank you! I’ll use this when I see a podiatrist. My feet are on your worst scale either hammer toes and they’re crossed like when you cross your fingers. Thank you.
Idiot created work for himself based on cold weather molds. May lose to tape alone. Noone visited.
No pain ?
No way am I having this surgery without general anesthesia . Why would anyone want to go through painful block injections and only AFTER that are you sedated? It should be in reverse.
Absolutely... I can't believe anyone would attempt this surgery without general anesthesia. smh I had this surgery and I was out completely, would not have done it any other way. Excellent results.
Very helpful.
Looks complicated 😭
Hello sir im also flat footed, now with pain under foot when bone bangs on floor (maybe the tarsal bone?) at the instep (flat since birth) can flat feet arch be raised along with bunion correcting please ? - Identical to patient 7:04 Thank you.
I just had bunion surgery and I was told to start doing exercises two weeks post op. Now, it’s uncomfortable and I can’t bend it all the way, but my doc said to do a little at a time just to make sure my joint doesn’t freeze
Very helpful thank you so much
Thank you ❤
I had my surgery 6week ago. Iam so gald that I did. Iam very happy. If you think have this surgery. Do it. Rlewis
Great video. I am getting X-ray later this month to find out what kind of surgery I will need
Not very helpful. It doesn't tell you which cross strap goes on first, left or right, based on which side the injury is on. It does make a difference!
What gonna be more painful tho I guess in the older age ? Bunions or having foreign objects in your feet ?
Thank you for this information. It is very validating when I have been feeling like I’m going crazy from the pain and it feels no one understands.
So satisfying to watch and very clear and informative. I want to fly there for this surgery. I am terrified to have it done in Chicago. I am down to one pair of hiking boots I can wear. I am afraid mine will be unfixable if I wait much longer to do this.
Tysm i found out i need one today;(
I like it❤avalabl company Market
those ribbons/strab that go under the foot and attached on the side cut on the side of my foot. you kinda see it here as well how it, at the edge of those ribbons/strab, pulls into the foot
I was diagnosed with DDD at L4/L5/SI probably ten or so years ago. I had a left hip replacement a year ago. My back pain got worse after hip surgery. Now dr is suggesting surgery.
want to buy this one
It’s been over a month and my great toe has been numb since bunion surgery
How are your feet now?
En español
I am 3 1/2 months post op on my left foot and 4 weeks postop on the right. I can definitely move the left foot been doing bending exercises and massage on the left foot and when I walk the big toe still wants to point upwards. Does this ever go away? Right foot is still bandaged up there’s alot of swelling still. I wear a compression sleeve on the left and wondering how much longer I need to do this.
just bought an zamst a2 dx ankle brace. why does it hurt my lateral arch? is it becus i put it too tight?
I just started taping my feet with a good result. I had immediate relief if pain and it was very comfortable- watch UA-cam for bunion taping. Anything instead of surgery for me until impossible
Doctor, you said that it is not known why the bunions form, but is it not because shoes have been designed too narrow for the human foot?
Thanks
I recently had the Bostrom procedure performed in order to repair a complete tear of the ATFL, bone spurs and another partial ligament tear. My surgery was last Monday, everything went well following the procedure until day 6. The Sunday following the procedure I was moving through the house and my crutch caught something, I lost my balance and momentarily placed ALL my weight on the toes of the operated foot while falling backwards. I don't believe I twisted or pivoted, there was not cracking, popping or snapping, but I did immediately feel pain (mostly burning) over the top of my foot. The night I tripped and the following day my pain had significantly increased. Today it has mostly subsided however, it still hurts more than it did all the way up until I tripped. My question is, what can happen if someone puts their entire body weight on the toes of their operated foot days after surgery? Realistically, what is likely to happen?
How many week post-op is this ?
Just had bunion surgery on both feet here in Canada. My doctor told me pretty much nothing about exactly what procedure he would use. I got the ‘block’ which was good for at least 24 hours, but had significant pain after that. Alleviated pain with prescribed T3’s and ice. The thing is, I am in casts on both feet for a FULL six weeks. Why is this? Also the doctor did not ask to see me for the six weeks until my casts come off. Meanwhile, I am five weeks in and get some really painful twinging in my toe joints, which prevents sleeping. Can someone with knowledge explain why the twingeing and why the casts are on for six weeks? As far as I know, there was nothing unusual about the bunions, and it seems the long casting is normal practice for this doctor.
I fight with my stupid brace every time I try to put it on. I never thought to do it like this, but it is so stabilizing for my ankle. Thank you so much for posting this!
yeah because some look the same but theres differnt texture of padding i know a lot of peoole hate there brace so much they go and buy an easier one
How long after surgery can these be started?
I also would like to know how long after surgery to do this.
My doctor at BIDMC did not give me any options.
I wish I had seen his video prior to having Lapiplasty 5 weeks ago. I believe my bunion problem could have been solved with the first simple method you showed. Instead, I had the lapiplasty and have had the most horrible nerve pain ever. I am still in pain and have not been able to put weight on my foot yet. I am told recuperation will last 4 months but people tell me they have had pain and swelling for up to a year. I regret having had the surgery. P.S. I have had a total of 7 surgeries in my body and this has been the worse of all.
Wow, I’m so sorry to hear this! I’ve had many surgeries like you, for me major joint replacements, knee, shoulders, now hip which went and still is really hard to deal with. My bunions are bad, My feet hurt bad, my toes on both feet are crossed etc. My family wants me to get them done but,…. I’m terrified. I’m so sick of recovering from surgical pain!!! Ugh! I have to think this through a lot more!!!! I also have hammer toes. Ugh…… I hope you’ll be ok?!
Thank you!!!!❤
Two questions: can you still fit in basketball shoes with this? Can it also be used for Achilles tendonitis?
