Jack Ginsberg HRV Update and Overview
Переглядів 2036 місяців тому
The science and clinical practice of HRV and HRV Biofeedback continue to expand rapidly. This talk will present new areas of interest that are emerging. While the utility of HRV as an indicator of stress (e.g. depression, anxiety, PTSD) has been recognized for many years, recent findings that will be explored in this presentation are the significance of HRV in prognostication, progression, and ...

This presentation will be about Luke’s recently published Ayahuasca study on the New Mind Journal. This study uses QEEG brain mapping and New Mind's CEC questionnaire to study the effects of Ayahuasca. Luke Jensen has been traveling back and forth from Peru since 2014 working with Ayahuasca. To our knowledge this is the first brain mapping study to track changes over time with Ayahuasca. This i...

Why do we allow the lifestyle of trauma in America. Trauma trauma trauma, then have to take radical and extreme measures to recover. Life is so screwed up. Way to go America. Now we are merching ancient medicine without the shaman. Get ready for more abuse of what was a good thing.

How can I get help!?!? Diazepine is burning me alive! My eyes are burning out of my head. My skin is burning. My entire digestive tract is burning.. is shut down and I can't eat.. literally starving to death. My body is eating itself now, my doctor did this to me. He doesn't have any idea about what this is done to me.. once you put on this kind and medication nobody believes anything you say... I have absolutely no fat on my body. I'm a walking skeleton.

This is a great video Dr Turner, Thank you. One question I have is, looking at ELF( 30Hz) range in Beamer mat appears to improve energy, improve circulation, detox and boost health, while these EMF's that you are talking about appears to have detrimental health impact. So how do we understand this? Not all EMF's are bad, earth has EMF and helps with our sleep cycle, microwave is a EMF that cooks food and I'm sure if we put our fingers in there, it will cook that too. So in this space where there are lots of noise, can you set the record straight? what is good? what is bad?

The use of iPhone in bed triggered my powerful brain zaps, which knocked me down on the kitchen floor upon waking up. I am very healthy, do not take any meds and am 62. Went to the ER because I was very dizzy after regaining consciousness and the residency MD never heard about electric shock in the brain neither the nurses. Imagine if I that episode had happened while driving?

Americans have definitely NOT followed dietary guidelines during the obesity epidemic. Sure, Americans consumed skim milk and then doubled up on cheese and other animal products. People are eating out more and restaurants generally serve higher ratios of animal products than home-cooked meals. Americans have consumed twice the recommended protein and half the recommended fiber. These are the most consistent trends. During this window of time from 1970 - 2008 (25:40) based on a citation from a popular press book, red meat did decrease slightly but went back up again after 2005 as the obesity epidemic rose. This graph is also misleading because it excludes all the other animal products containing not just cholesterol but more importantly, saturated fat. So, if one looks at the total amounts of red meat, white meat AND/OR total dairy during this somewhat arbitrary 38- yr period and beyond, it is obvious that there is a consistent, linear association between animal products and the obesity epidemic. The graph curiously excludes cheese consumption and "low fat dairy," which increased dramatically. And over the past 40 years, butter consumption has increased specifically. "The average American consumed 667 pounds of dairy on a milkfat basis in 2021 versus 539 pounds in 1975 when data was first established. Among the products showing strong growth are American-type cheese, up 0.5 pounds, butter up 0.2 pounds, and yogurt adding 0.7 pounds." www.dairyfoods.com/articles/95908-american-dairy-consumption-achieves-a-record-in-2021#:~:text=The%20average%20American%20consumed%20667,and%20yogurt%20adding%200.7%20pounds. Since 1990, carbohydrate intake has decreased, and fat and protein intake continue to climb. Even while carbohydrate, fat and protein intake all increased, fiber intake has remained remarkably stagnant. So, processed plants and total animal product intake increased while whole plant food decreased during the entire obesity epidemic. www.usda.gov/media/blog/2014/05/27/100-years-tracking-nutrients-available-us-food-supply

Caveats were made for dietary cholesterol. Dietary cholesterol is not an essential nutrient. "At the time of the 2015 Dietary Guidelines Advisory Committee, the mean dietary intake in the United States for those ≥1 year of age was <300 mg/d. Because this level did not meet the criterion of a nutrient of concern, the importance of a numerical limitation was diminished. However, the 2015 DGA report stated that the lack of an explicit limit for dietary cholesterol did not imply that dietary cholesterol is unimportant in the adoption of healthy eating patterns. The report also emphasized that adherence to US Department of Agriculture-recommended eating patterns will naturally contribute to low amounts of dietary cholesterol because dietary cholesterol commonly coexists with major food sources of saturated fat. All of the US Department of Agriculture-recommended eating patterns included in the 2015 to 2020 report have <300 mg/d cholesterol across calorie levels ≤3200 kcal/d.8 Similarly, the multisociety 2018 Guideline on the Management of Blood Cholesterol4 brought forward the “2013 AHA/ACC Guideline on Lifestyle Management to Reduce Cardiovascular Risk,”3 which did not include a recommendation for dietary cholesterol but recommended healthy eating patterns involving relatively low levels of dietary cholesterol." "The National Lipid Association Expert Panel concluded that “dietary cholesterol modestly increases total cholesterol, and LDL-cholesterol on average, although hypo- and hyper-responders do exist in the population." "Dietary guidance to achieve cardiovascular health should remain focused on adopting a healthy dietary pattern, as recommended by the 2015 to 2020 DGA and current AHA/ACC guidelines. Healthy dietary patterns are inherently relatively low in cholesterol, with typical levels similar to the current US intake. These patterns emphasize fruits, vegetables, whole grains, low-fat or fat-free dairy products, lean protein sources, nuts, seeds, and liquid vegetable oils. A recommendation that gives a specific dietary cholesterol target within the context of food-based advice is challenging for clinicians and consumers to implement; hence, guidance focused on dietary patterns is more likely to improve diet quality and to promote cardiovascular health... Patients with dyslipidemia, particularly those with diabetes mellitus or at risk for heart failure, should be cautious in consuming foods rich in cholesterol." More importantly, "The available evidence suggests that within the context of eating patterns, replacing saturated fat with unsaturated fat is expected to produce greater reductions in LDL cholesterol concentrations than reducing dietary cholesterol alone." www.ahajournals.org/doi/full/10.1161/CIR.0000000000000743
