Why does John Sykes get overlooked as a guitarist? I know that there were a kazillion gun singers in the 80's.....but this guy is a freak of nature. Criminally underappreciated player.

Best overall guitar player to grace the KISS lineup. A true professional and perfect for the role. I was so glad, however, that the Revenge album brought back tube overdrive guitar tones, because this Rockman Ace tone was total dog poo by comparison. That's nothing against Bruce. It was a sign of the era.

These guys worked hard and wrote great songs. Much respect! Kinda sad now that we know more about Janies “secret that he just can’t tell”and had to endure.

Saw this tour with Ted Nugent at Brendan Byrne arena within a few days of this... couldn't believe how good they were.

What a band! Loved the album and hate that I never saw them live. Sykes pinch harmonics and vibrato is so killer. I could live in it for days.

Saw Kiss 1-5-88 in Marquette MI. I think it was -20 degrees F. Did Ted Nugent open in New Haven?

Every Song on 87 WS Album is Very Good in the Ranks of Van Halens 1st Album Both Masterpieces

This is cool. Not a great recording... but still cool to go back that far, and see the guys. I really wish Jeff Watson was still in NR. I never really understood exactly what happened, and all of them have managed to keep that stuff in ranks. Which is a good thing. But I wish they could have all gone out together. Good to see the Band still rocking, after all these years. Killer Band!
