I kept playing this over and over. I love his voice and how he made us feel loneliness in a different level. Olivia Rodrigo - makes us feel sadness, loneliness yet youthful and very hopeful but she just needs time to overcome it. This guy - makes us feel loneliness and emptiness by sounding that after he gave it all, still things are beyond out of control and there is neither how, where, nor way to look back onto. And I never realized he used to be huge popstar and 90s soul artist, in short, he's a legend.

I just left a lenghty - positive comment, as I felt enticed. In advance, thank you for letting me be bubbly in your channel, first time around. "Just georgeous", first, I thought - I am into music theory - that it's a top two chord songs - then I fingered out three: Bflat major, E major E#major and F major. Astley seems, as they say, "lyrical" which, I just learned, regularly refers to heights a baritone or tenor can do (if I remember correctly) to the lows, in other words, Astley seem to be on a technical safe side in his lows, based on a lot of practice, fondness of singing, and is thus able to be lyrical about it. From this I derive that being "lyrical" is based on hard work, achieving strong heights and lows. I insist on putting, these are my current viewings, on putting Sinatra, Diamond and Astley in the same box of "under-achiever", their mastery is in the low notes. In this case my guess is that Astley is able to work it all out - namely the hidden chord which is the parallel minor to the key of Bflat major, G minor. Which reminds me of his latest of my favorites. "You are driving me crazy", where there is ordinary I, IV, V but then in a mysterious way there was "D minor" where it could have been F. It is some style to be able to always work it out, what it is that makes something special that is set in a regular be it "Georgian" style.

Not afraid of the A of the mezzo-soprano. Sinatra never did so, did he. Maybe he wouldn't'even been allowed to. Neither Neil Diamond, maybe because just didn't feel like. - "And the colored girls go dua dua dua" - they are a "wild side" in my eyes. All tones so good. Thank you!
