The defense for the french national team is going to be insane. They're going to be able to have lineups with Traore, Risacher, Coulibaly, Sarr and Wembanyama at times, while still having Rudy Gobert, and they have an insane pool of players that they can choose from. Doumbouya is still a menace on defense and he has expended his offensive game in the french pro league, scoring over 21 points last season with great shooting splits. For context he was scoring 7 points in the same league before he got drafted, he's still only 23 and It was a bit of a shock that he wasn't selected on the national team. But there's a lot of players like Doumbouya that are falling under the radar because they don't get the same attention from the media.

The crazy thing about Bilal Coulibaly is that at the beginning of the '22-23 season he was supposed to play with the U23 team of Mets 92, he made the preseason with the pros due to injuries in the roster, convincee the coach to give him some times on the field, made it to the starting five, caught the eye of the scouts who came to see Wembanyama and ended up drafted in the top ten.

As a UConn fan I’ve seen a lot of Clingan. In the PKI that UConn won. couple of years ago Bill Walton was on the broadcast and he was gushing about DC. He’s an outstanding passer, knows what’s expected of him, very unselfish, team first guy. He will eventually add a reliable, if infrequent, 3-ball to his game. He will rebound and protect the rim. And I’ve seen him block perimeter shots many times. He will only get better as his body develops.

I’m cool with DC playing 18-20 a night. No need to rush things. Let it play out.
