I ordered that spoiler and everything stuck good exept one corner thats sticking up by about 1/8 of an inch. What do i do ? Do i gotta remove the entire spoiler or can i just use the silicone or more tape on thst 1/2 inch corner. Please lmk. Thanks
Nice job, nice spawler
Okay I am asking where is the fuse located on the Panamera for the spoiler
Excellent video ... ... just be cautious of any internal structural cross braces you "might" need to plan around.
Do you not get fault codes in the dashboard?
Oh wow! This is really cool. I need this for my commodore. Hopefully i can get it to Australia. 😊 thanks for the video.
Doesn’t it come with good bolts for it
Is the adhesive silicone safe on the paint?
What glue did you use?
Great video. Helped me out a lot today. 👍
Watched this clip but I am sure that I can install my Victor Racing smart actiive wing
Do you have installers in San Bernardino, CA area❓️
Looking to have a DAR Spoiler installed on my 2018 Cadillac ATS
How does it look when it's down?
What other adhesive do you recommend since i can’t get a hold of this one
Excellent
This is the best video i have seen, i will install my spoiler this weekend. Gracias Señor
The stock spoiler on my 08 TL type S is loose on one end, how can I remove and re-seal, advise please.
"he is gonna mark his hole"
Great job I was wondering if I should caulk under the spoiler?
Hell no
Very nice!
How is it holding? Is 3mm tape worthy?please let me know.
3M adhesive tapes are about the best you can buy. The adhesive and material will last 10+ years in most conditions, and potentially longer in many cases. Many factory/OEM auto glass features installed on vehicles at the factory use 3M straps and adhesives.
what about the water coming from the top of the trunkdoor? No need for silicone?
I think there is a gasket lining the oval parts of the spoiler that press against the trunk creating a seal on the outside from water coming into the trunk. I think they need to be clarify that, if no gasket then you are right water can get into the trunk.
@@johnf8991 i see.
i can see it from here that on 4:53 its clearly obvious that the tape has a curve and isnt streight as it is on the left side
Why would you use screws where the threads will not match up with the machine nut you have embedded in the spoiler?
the only thing missing was a small washer between the screw and the hood
After using that paper (towel) you must have made scratches
I had installed a lip spoiler on my car a few days ago but it seems that a small portion did not stick properly. How do I handle that?
and now how to take it off
Spoiler Alert ! ... 🤣😂🤣
They're not a machine screws or lag bolts.
The ugliest retrofit on the planet. This is why you shouldn't let pickup people close to a Porsche. What an ugly bench air brake...facepalm
NO NO NO NO
ok probably the best tutorial on the planet
Stop you are destroying a porsche , put a real porsche turbo spoiler on it.
Is there any alternative to the silicone sealer? Also, is there any need to treat the exposed metal from the whole with paint or rust inhibitor?
Won’t the tape degrade over time? In 4 years will you have to redo it?
UHH looks like you lucked out on barely having enough room to mount that thing!
want to know what makes it stay even MORE? emblem and trim adhesive on TOP of the double side tape. the bitch aint coming off. AND AND it glides a tiny bit when you put it on for about 20 seconds, so you can make very find adjustments before it starts to dry!!!
You say no drilling yet you show a how to video with drilling
That's awesome video. Very informative thanks for sharing.
What kind of Sealant did you use?? Plsss..
I have a question about the color. I need a white spoiler. But, I only see two options (painted and unpainted). Does the unpainted one comes white? Thanks !
Will the 3m vhb tape work to mount a deflector on the rear windsheild? The 3m tape that came on it keeps lifting up on the edges of the deflector and it separates from the glass.
use 3m emblem and trim adhesive in addition to the tape! it's fantastic combination!
What about car washes? Is it safe for them?
I don't know it was this easy.
is this safe? has there been a case of the spoiler falling off while driving? also what glue did you use?
on top of the double side tape, use 3m emblem and trim adhesive. put a nice line right down the middle of the spoiler. right in the middle of the double side tape. this will allow you to put the spoiler on the car while it sticks AND have about 20 to 30 seconds of very very slightly wiggle room to make VERY fine adjustments if you are a perfectionist like me. after about 50 seconds, it's about 75 percent dry. overnight, it's on their like cement. you can only take it off with a heat gun on high, so be sure you do this correctly
Came here to figure out how to remove this from a Panamera Turbo, good God, please just don't.
Calvin lmao why?
@@DavideGiusy in general for Panameras, it's utterly dumb because it's putting a spoiler on a spoiler. It's even worse for the Turbo (and later) the GTS trims as they were the only models with the deployable rear wing. This makes the deploying spoiler unusable.
thanks.. Do u know where I can find a spoiler for 1997 Mercury Mountaineer?' Thanks in advance..
I'd advise to drill the spoiler with a large screw onto your car instead of this. This won't do any good here on the highways (germany)
I think that's the point of these new lightweight NO DRILL spoilers. They're pretty light and the 3M tape holds up securely. Some people just want to play around with their car's looks and sometimes change their minds on the style of spoiler they want on the car. Drilling would just leave ugly holes on trunk if you one day decide to go spoiler free.
For anyone one who drilled holes incorrect, you can always fix it with paint filler. just know that sanding and re-painting can be a hard task
