@UP_Yoddha238 :Functional structure is when you divide your organizational structure based on the various functions of your company like HR, Finance, Sales and Marketing, etc. So each will have a manager or chief who takes care of the department. This person would be responsible for the team and they will report to the company MD or CEO. Here, for example if a company has two products- a) detergent b) handwash. Then say, the finance team would take care of the accounts of both the product. In divisional Structure, The organization structure is based on different products. Say, Unilever Company....they have varied products like Rexona, Dove, Vaseline, etc. Now, this company will have seprate Directors for Rexona, Dove and Vaseline, etc. Here, Rexona, Dove and Vaseline, each would have their own HR, Finance and Sales team and so on.
