Terrific presentation of your DIY lift. Thank you. The best part is getting to view that marvelous, pristine road bike!! Would truly love to hear and see more about that one!
Hay Alex, what's happening?is this the same Alex that visited my place in Watford North Dakota?with the klr 650? I now live in Phoenix AZ, and if you want to talk to me I will let you have my phone number
Why not? Wood is Nature's Composite Material, and is perfectly strong enough if used correctly, in a good basic design. It's obviously a bit more bulky than a comparable Steel or Aluminium version, but perfectly acceptable for a home workshop.
HOOOOLLLY FARK!!
Very good DIY presentation, but it would be cooler, if only you put at least the measurements of the wood you used.

wondering is it better to have both tyres a little flat
Good enough for a Goldwing
Whoa, for a minute there I thought Dracula was come out and ride that thang!
Great Job Alex. I like the way you did the sliding panel part, good solution for not having a fixed attachment.
ain't no way i'd put my sweet thing on that ,,,10 points for trying but really

👍 Well done.
Hey, I've got the floor jack, now all I need is a bunch of 2/4s and some bolts. Got any plans?
But I doubt it would hold a big bagger. It might work for a Sporty.
I've since upgraded. Swing on by and I'll just give you this wooden beast
Health plan would be advisable with that.
His is made out of 2X6 not 2X4. His is a little noisy, (snap, crackle, and pop) but other than that it's fine.
@@larrymagee8758 With it being made out of 2X6 and 1X6 or 8 for the flooring . It would hold up two baggers or a couple of Goldwings.
oof
Good job, way to make use of an old car jack. I like to suggest adding a couple of locking braces as it goes up, just incase. Love it!
Wow that is super sketchy.
Very cool but it's definitely the scariest movie I've seen a while! The suspense was incredible on the way down lol. Nice job!
