We have a new subtenant!
This morning (August 17th, 2024) we noticed that we have a new subtenant moving into our thuja tree. A squirrel is building its nest into the old nest of Magpies. Since it's already August, I don't know whether it's a baby nest or just a winter nest. I guess we will see it later... I'm so excited, because I've been wishing to see little baby squirrels for so long! I truly hope that the mama squirrel will have babies and that they will grow up in our backyard. At least our backyard is peaceful place, it has several trees, one spruce, two pine trees, several thujas and an apple tree. We also feed birds as well as squirrels and hares so there will be food during the winter season. This Autumn will be exciting for sure! 💜💜💜

We have a new brown hare visiting us. Oh' how he/she is cute and so small!!! 💜💜💜🐰 And as you can see from the video, the hare eats only weeds and grass, not the flowers so he/she is taking care of our flower beds! 🙏💜🐰 Ps. I know that the hares can also eat some flowers, if they are eatable for their taste so you better think what you plant in your garden, if you don't want them to eat your flow...

Squirrels come and go pretty fast so there is all day for the little birds to eat. 😊💜🐦 And bigger birds as well. They all seem to have their own eating times during the day. 😄
