I'm watching the show right now..Mary just went blind and the family moved to stay together. When does that happen today. Families are all over the place. Mary read psalm. 15 . Scripture being read on TV? What??. I'm glad most of the cast lived to receive the love we had for the show, but I wish the most Michael Landon had lived long enough to see it.

Strange story. Not very convincing. But Michael Landon was able to come up with the emotion in the big scene. He was a very much underrated actor - his entire career.

It's amazing to see that she had bags under her eyes at the time, whereas 15 years later she had none at all !

harriet was my favourite character along with laura... i loved it when she was getting in awkward position, falling over, getting mudded, and ridiculed... my least favourite was the doctor. most probably because i thought his hair was weird... (i was born the year Little House came on tv ^^)

Gosh very strange TV play. What is so odd that Albert Salmi became a bit part actor in Bonanza and Michael Landon being one of the Stars. I then read years ago that he murdered his wife and then shot himself. Apparently he had very similar issues as the guy he played Lenny Shank in this TV film. Very sad!

It would be nice to watch full episodes.. This is one of my favorite childhood TV series 😊

Nels was performatively reluctant but implicitly complicit in the family's ill doings. For someone so meek, he even managed to name his first-born after himself. This guy needs some rethinking.

Melissa looked and sounded so uncomfortable and I really can't blame her. That was awful.
