This “all caps” reply needs some context. The 1939-1945 war is called World War 2 for a reason. President Roosevelt quickly understood that to save the US from German Nazism, he needed to fight it in Europe. He send material and troops who bravely fought along the Allies for a free world. And they won. As it was too expensive to return the tanks, trucks and Jeep’s to the US, they were left behind, continuing to serve in many European armies till the were decommissioned. Today, all the trucks you see are painstakingly restored to their original configuration, mostly saved from the scrap heap. They serve to commemorate the fallen soldiers who used the during the war. You will find hundreds of them in Normandy in June, hundreds of them in Bastogne in December, on occasions that commemorate these bloody battles. And, by the way, every truck you see in the video was imported from the US to save it from being destroyed and to return it in its original shape. Your comment is thus moronic and I even wonder why I replied.

To put it bluntly: do not hesitate. The joy of flying this bird is exceptional all by all for a reasonable price. If you are considering bying N232E, it looks like a good deal. Has the early model cowl. Price looks right. Do not go for the Jacobs powered models, they are penalised in useful load.
Very nice car kept original everything
just got a '49 delivered ...dump flatbed...love it. Haven't run it on the road yet..but motor runs like a timex watch and steering is tight. Only 48,000 original miles on it. Nice vid ..thanks for posting

These big old trucks are usually very slow. The gearing on them does not allow then to go highway speeds.

Are you sure it's a factory canopy job?--I've never seen a canopy truck with panel doors in the back
