My name is Rick and I am retired from the Canadian Forces after 20+ years of service. I am a big outdoor enthusiast and spend allot of my time in nature as you will see. My partner Laura said; Why don’t you start a UA-cam channel of your adventures and share them with people who may want to try a new hobby, or may be interested in travelling to new destinations. So here we are.
What is unique about my channel is that I offer videos on a variety of different adventures. You may catch me on my motorcycle; canoeing; kayaking; camping; scuba diving; snorkelling; hiking; snowshoeing; skiing; or travelling around the world. My videos are also fun, educational and scenic. Hope you enjoy! 😊

Kayaking part of the Rideau Canal (Day 2 of 2)
The following video is the second day of a kayak camping trip Laura and I took on the beautiful Rideau Canal from Colonel-By lake in Kingston Ontario to Jones Falls Lock Station.
In this video, we will pack-up camp at Upper Brewers Locks and get back on the water. We will then paddle from Upper Brewers Locks to Cranberry Lake, cross under Brass Point Bridge to Little Cranberry Lake. Then up to Murphys Narrows and Whitefish Lake to then finish our journey at Jones Falls Locks and Hotel Kenney.
My next video will sadly be my Season Finale for Season # 2, but I will leave you with a Photo Montage of pictures I have taken through out my entire season.
Hope you enjoy!

When did you go?
@@maickyborges Thanks for watching! I was there the week of March 13th this year. Beautiful resort and definitely recommend. I haven’t been “yet” but I’ve heard very good things about “Le Massif” as well.
how much dong was the train ride to da nang. also how long of a ride was it ?
The price was 4,400,000.00 đồngs as of a year ago for 2 people, for an upgraded 2-bunk cabin 2X, which is equivalent to about $172.00 USD. The train ride took about 18-hours altogether. Here is the link where we made our booking from: 12go.asia/en Thanks for watching!
nice video, I want to use this jacket more in spring/summer for touring and long journeys, is ventilation good, is versatility also? there is currently a price drop/offer due to Black Friday/Christmas around €280, it is worth buying this jacket Any way great video Be safe
@@petroosabdollahian1648 Yes, ventilation is surprisingly good but when you’re stopped in traffic in 30 degree Celsius, it can get a bit warm. It is also very versatile with the 3 layers. I recommend trying it on with the 3 layers to make sure you can move freely. €280 sounds like a great deal. I paid the equivalent of €400 here in Canada. Thanks for watching!
@@moosetracks8888 thank you for your message and information
Hallo from Italy 🇮🇹. Thanks for the video. Bought it yesterday for 260euro before watching your video. Waiting to receive it next week. I see here you recommend to opt for 2 extra sizes. According to Revit size table for chest 115cm I ordered 2XL which is one more to my usual XL . Hope it will fit ok for me 🤞. Which size is your chest? I would like to check your result on Revit table.
@ Thanks for watching. I have a 112cm chest (44”). Like I mentioned, I usually take a size Medium here in Canada and the Large fit me if I didn’t have all 3 layers on. So I ended-up having to go to the X-Large which now fits comfortably. I can now move around in it easily. Who knows, yours might fit perfectly. Guidare in sicurezza!
@@moosetracks8888 Checked on Revit size table which seems to be reliable infact your 112cm points to XL. Now I can sleep well. Thanks
Nice Rick! 👍 Bring back good memories.

Thanks for watching. Yes, it was more like a cruise ship.
hi! unreal ,😲
@@eprohoda Thanks for watching. Beautiful province of Canada.
I enjoyed the ride and scenery but the pied piper must have been in the passenger seat. It drove me crazy and about 10 minutes is all I could take and I was so looking forward to this as I've wanted to take a trip to Newfoundland.
"Pied piper" has so many meanings so I can only assume that there was too much talking? It's hard to please everyone unfortunately. I've had other comments that there was not enough talking and explaining where I was or heading to. Sorry you didn't enjoy it. Hopefully you will like the other videos where I finally make it to NFLD and Gros Morne National Park.
@@moosetracks8888 maybe I did have a poor choice of words. Not too much talking at all. It was the music that got to me. Looking forward to Newfoundland but I might have to turn the volume off
@@slf6881 Oh I see. Yes, I have to agree with you. Some of the music can be annoying. Unfortunately, I have a limited choice of music to use with my program due to copy rights issues. I have used different ones for the other videos however, so I hope they are more tolerable. Thanks for watching btw and hope you get to Newfoundland one day. It is so beautiful.
You have quite the gear😍
Love your intro! 😍
Great trip you have planned! While in Western Newfoundland..you have to book a boat tour on Western Brook pond in Gros Morne National park... Did it twice and pure joy for the senses. Happy and safe ride!

Great video and great series! Might rewatch it while the GS is in the garage during this unsettled weather we have been having in Rhode Island. Congrats on a successful trip!
