Die Forelle - Schubert

Here, Emily Peace performs Schubert's lied 'Die Forelle', accompanied by Dylan Perez. Die Forelle, or The Trout, is a poem in which a person stands by a river watching a fish swim about, until a fisher man comes and catches it by muddying the water so the fish can't see where it is going. The final stanza of the poem is not set to music, but it says that women should beware of seducing anglers,...
Bonjour, Suzon! - Delibes

Performing Bonjour, Suzon!, a melodie by Delibes, is Emily Peace, accompanied by Juliane Gallant. In this song, I am a man, trying to persuade my former lover to be with me again after I return from a long voyage, despite the fact I spurned her. First, I try to impress her with my accomplishments and then, when that doesn't work, I try to appeal to her feminine tendencies.

This is Die Lotosblume by Schumann, with poetry by Heine.

Brava!!!!
I stumbled across this Video; let me give my 5cts from the point of view of a German native speaker. Actually the pronounciation of the German language is not far from being perfect. It's just some few vowels that are a bit off, but still understandable. The vast majority of the text, however, is given accurately and "crystal clear". There are enough German singers who do worse on that. I personally am generally not a friend of too much vibrato, here it is well done: not too much, just enough to express what has to be expressed aside the words (of course, the text contains lots of chiffres that were commonly known the days Heine wrote this poem but are not that obvious these days; a bit of vibrato here helps expressing what Heine had in mind, but could not say). Overall, the performance is almost perfect in my humble opinion.
Bella interpretazione è una bella voce
