See i think alot of people notice the difference from the high notes on the album's and the lack of high notes live, Which TBH i have too, and i think its only in some cases, ive seen ZP preform live before and do fine with high notes (They all said that the Inhuman rampage tour was a stroke of bad luck and technical difficulty ^^).

Annette = really good singer! Tarja = one of the best singer in the world!!!

@IvanTsarina I'm an asshole for expressing my observation? Tarja fans have to be the biggest assholes on UA-cam, always bitching about Anette. Tuomas has to be one of the best musicians/songwriters on the planet, and I think he knew what he was doing when he chose a replacement singer. His opinion counts more than all of the assholes like you.

@MargolottaLady No Tarja is not technically better, she's just different. Tarja utilizes a falsetto operatic voice often, while Anette utilizes her actual voice more often. I would say anette is more talented, really, because anyone can learn to sing operatically and sound well, while not everyone's natural voice can hit high notes and sound good.

He purposely got an inferior singer so no one can "be the band". anyone who writes an open letter for all the public in order to "fire" someone from their band is a giant PIECE OF SHIT. they could have privately done it.. after that, i will never buy another nightwish album.

oh not bad... I'm a big fan of Tarja's version, but this one is also very amazing! imo anette's voice fits better to the dark passion play songs, on those she's very good, singing the "old" songs she's "only" good ^^
