I recently came back to the game and started a master mode run. After beating the mech bosses, I started grinding for the black spot. I took me over an hour to get, only to be rewarded with a flying turd that is literally slower than running.

It was fine as it was. It's usefulness was a fast mode of travel on the surface. It didn't have maneuverability in any directing other than left or right. In a single player, non competitive game having really good (even op) items is good. As long as a mechanic, glitch, or item doesn't break the games ability to perform or cut the playtime by a significant margin (I guess 30-40 %) then there is no harm in letting it stay as is. Nerfing the deadalus bow was ridiculous, it wasn't game breaking and didn't make all other weapons irrelevant. The reaver shark cut the use of 3 picks, but fishing or jumping straight into the mech bosses cuts out just as many in hard mode. All they did was cut alternate ways to play the game. In a game ALL ABOUT replayability and different play styles why take away options to have fun away from the player?

Ik kinda deserved the nerf just used it to kill queen slime and all the mechanical bossed with ease on master mode
