In difficult wet & slippery conditions, the game started well for Team White. They looked solid & comfortable and were leading by 2 goals after 15 minutes. Team Black huffed and puffed but were snuffed out by the quality of their opponents, managing to score only once. Unfortunately, key man for the Whites Faheem then suffered an ankle injury and was unable to continue. The game resumed with Team Black having a man advantage with 6 players against 5. Despite this, Team White put up a spirited fight, and maintained their lead nearly till the end. But playing with a man less in such closely matched and balanced games was always going to be too much of a disadvantage. Also, once again, the inferior fitness of Team White proved a big liability in the late stages, and the "game" tapered away at the end.
