A few months back the topic of Hue Edwards was being discussed on LBC with a police officer that works on child protection, the question being asked was why wasn’t Huw in prison… the answer essentially was because the viewing and sharing of child sex abuse images is so prevalent and widespread that there wouldn’t be enough court time or prison places for them all.

Some day in the future I wonder if those two twins when they are fully into adulthood will ever come out and say anything as they know what it is really like to be the children of the McCann parents.

When my teenage daughter was a toddler, I would wake up every hour or so listening for her breathing. Her crib was next to our bed, and I was so afraid that she would somehow turn her head facing down into the mattress or against her pillow and suffocate or something. Those years has turned me into a very light sleeper. Even today 16 years after, I wake up from the smallest of sounds, so I need to use ear plugs to get a good night's sleep. Thats how much my worries for her have impacted me. And we are to accept that these two just left their infant girl and two toddlers by themselves and went out for dinner with their friends without a care in the world! I wonder how they explained all of this away to their two twins. They are old enough today to put two and two together.

It's horrendous that child @buse is the defining factor that equals all classes. It is utterly sickening. I will never understand someone who looks at a child and sees an opportunistic object for their own selfish gratification. Keep your kids away from men and you will keep them away from 98% of predators. It's that simple. Women are twice as likely to be sexually @bused and yet.... their broken mind doesn't lead them to repeat the experience with kids. It just doesn't. Dont get me wrong, i absolutely believe there is highly organised child trafficking and abuse, however the whole satanism part is a bit much and dampens on his credibility a little. Thank you Jon for coming forward and saying your piece. Thank you Daniel for hosting this, I learnt so much from this, from which I feel is a very educated, non biased opinion. I’ve always been disgusted by Madelaine’s parents and the positive treatment from the media. So many parents lose their kids but they get nowhere near this much help. Ugh

Firstly he is inarticulate. Secondly he talks about objectivity in investigations and what proves or disproves involvement - then asserts culpability because Kate McCann was wearing make up and earrings?! I investigated numerous murders and I have seen grief manifest itself in so many ways, including full lucidness and calmness. There are so many different ways that people grove and there is no right or wrong way.

I hate to say but this podcast is full of misinformation or really outdated views on the psychology of trauma and how it affects people. I think Jon has a lot of expierence and insights but some of the things he says are biased to his own perceptions rather than the evidence we see in research.

Quite possibly one of the most harrowing, disturbing but illuminating videos I've ever seem. It completely undermines any vestige of faith we might have for our political, monied, monarchical or educated classes
