Hi, not to debate but to clarify. 1. The neck piece or strap, is not a necklace but, part of the dress which, every woman knows should ensure that the dress or top does not move from the chest area. That is the reason it was placed there or made to be there otherwise, makers wouldn't have include it. 2. If the strap falls and is left hanging, there is a higher chance especially with this choreo where they go on the floor, for the straps to get caught = high chances of the top to be pulled down or other accidents. 3. Usually, near backless tops or none vertical straps suggests that the chest area is already padded, it is very likely that she was not wearing anything in between the top and herself so, if this was the case then, all the more reason she would be holding onto the straps. I could be wrong and she may have been wearing something else however, it's very rare for women to wear bras when the top is already padded (again this was if it was already padded). Its like padding twice. 4. If one looks carefully, the mid section is tight but there is room. All it takes is something small that could have lead it to a bigger accident. 5. A natural reaction is to try and fix it unless it is out of your hands. Which at the case would have been going back stage.
