This was very informative,I try to eat a healthy diet also. One very important item that you received is the lemon juice.I have organic lemon juice seven days a week it is very good for the ph in the body. Before someone eats a lemon the lemon is very acidic but once it is eaten it becomes very alkaline in our body. I do not buy any processed food either and I grow a lot of my food, thank you for the information.

Jesus Christ is my personal Lord and Savior.I raised two akitas who are very loyal dogs that God allowed to bless me for years. The female lived 12 years and the male lived 13 years 4 months.I cannot put into words how God blessed my life with these dogs.I also know the comfort that God can give after such a great loss.A verse in the Bible that I believe can help to bring you comfort is Proverbs chapter 12 verse 10. There are others also.As you read this verse think about the kindness you showed your dog. This is a two part verse that shows a person's heart. The word of God is how I was able to overcome the grief and the Lord brought me joy.May God bless you.

I’m with you on this! Mulberries are so good. I bought 2 trees 4 years ago from big box store. This is the first year they have produced. It is beyond my wildest expectations. Me, my husband, the squirrels, all birds, raccoons, and possums are all enjoying these delectable fruits. The tree is loaded and keeps giving and giving. Thanks for the tip! I bought an Instapot knock-off at a thrift store that was originally sold for about $150 on a shopping channel. Absolute junk! The seal didn't seal, and it spewed all over my island countertop! At least I was only out $5, so I wasn't too mad. Now I only buy antique stovetop pressure cookers at thrift stores. I buy new seals and vents before using though. I make my dog's food in two 1930s era canning pressure cookers (huge!) so I can cook 15-20 lbs of chicken and organ meat at a time and freeze it. Not only cheaper than dog food, it's way healthier. I've gotten some good deals on eBay from sellers who are outlets for the brand they are selling. I like eBay because of their feedback system. If a seller has a high rating with lots of sales, I've never been disappointed. I bought a small bluetooth speaker from the Anker outlet for less than half of retail several years ago, and it was brand new in original (but opened) packaging. I love that speaker, incredible sound for such a small thing and I've dropped it several times, use it outside and it still works great! Unfortunately I can't buy from Amazon because I live off-grid 3 miles from the nearest paved road. Those Amazon vans won't drive down my rough dirt canyon switchback road and I don't blame them! Give your darling doggies a pet and a cuddle from me! Dogs make life better! Frugal is the way to live. As my Southern momma used to say, "I pinch a penny so hard it makes Lincoln holler!"😂

I also make home made dog food. My vet thinks it's a great idea. My lab in the video is about to turn 15 next month. Clearly something is working for him. @@lifelivedfrugally That's wonderful! Your sweet yellow lab looks happy and healthy. My border collie is 13 and still plays. He sleeps a lot now, but the moment he hears my car keys, he runs to my car ready to ride. I'm retired and take care of my disabled adult son, so money is very tight. I've always lived below my means and that mindset has saved me. Nine years ago, my husband gave me an ultimatum; either I kick my mentally ill son out of my life or he would leave me. I told him "goodbye!" My son didn't ask to have schizophrenia, and he's a good person who is doing well now on meds. My ex is a drunk who abused me, so that was an easy decision. The only thing I miss is his income but I'd rather feel safe and be able to help my son. Channels like yours are wonderful! I learn new tips every day. I've learned to be a better, and smarter cook now that we rely on the food bank and have little money for food. I've become friends with a couple from Pakistan who have a wonderful store that sells discontinued and overstocked items at lower prices, and a few years ago they started selling imported spices and food from India and Pakistan. That opened up a whole new delicious world for me! The spices they sell are far superior to grocery store brands, and I'm trying things I've never heard of, such as black urad beans that are very nutritious and filling. I found out that ghee is wonderful for cooking and it lasts for a very long time in the fridge. Oops! Sorry, I didn't mean to write my life story. I get carried away! I subscribed and look forward to learning from you.❤

@@lifelivedfrugally I wish you did too! You would love the Chands, the couple who own the store. They are the kindest people I know. I met them 20 years ago when they were selling goods from a swap meet. I was thrilled when they opened their store about 10 years ago. I love talking to Mrs. Chand, and she's taught me about the medicinal uses for ayurvedic herbs they sell. Ashwagandha has been a life-changer! I have chronic depression and menopausal mood swings, but that herb has helped me feel normal again.

Hi, thanks for sharing your gardening experience! My garden and orchard are 2 years old, so I’m still waiting for fruit. There was a burst of growth this spring on all my trees…which was so exciting. I have a smaller space than you, but the whole area is cardboard sheet mulched….you could probably get free tree mulch from tree trimming companies. I guess I’m a “crazy garden lady “ cause my whole back yard is crammed with fruit trees and garden! Good luck, I just subscribed…you have a sweet voice!

    • @lifelivedfrugally

Thank you so much for subscribing. I actually have had tree mulch dropped on my driveway. The problem was that I had to carry it by wheelbarrow to the backyard and ended up hurting my shoulder. I no longer do that so I just buy a couple bags of mulch to spread around the trees. I hope someday to have a even bigger piece of property so I can grow more fruit trees or find a property with the trees already planted. I hope you get some fruit this year. Enjoy the gardening season.
