that is a pretty jar.
And they are either cheaper or comparable in price to similar jars at my local Walmart.
This was very informative,I try to eat a healthy diet also. One very important item that you received is the lemon juice.I have organic lemon juice seven days a week it is very good for the ph in the body. Before someone eats a lemon the lemon is very acidic but once it is eaten it becomes very alkaline in our body. I do not buy any processed food either and I grow a lot of my food, thank you for the information.
Thank you. I am just starting my journey of changing my diet. I wish I had started much earlier.
Haven't seen you for a while friend! Im glad to see that you are still going on with UA-cam. 😊
Thank you.
Those daikon look beautiful. I bought some seeds and am waiting sewing season.
Thank you. I planted these in early spring and they took a long time but I think they were worth it. I hope you enjoy planting and growing them.
🤎🐾
Nice! How do you know when to harvest? Mine have been flowering. I have 3 types planted, so they’re not all flowering at the exact same time.
I have always been told to harvest when the plants start to die off. However, I did harvest mine a bit early but I am still so happy with the results. Hope you get lots of potatoes.
Great job! Enjoy the potatoes.
Thank you! Will do!
You had a very good harvest.A tomato fertilizer that has more phosphorus will help your peppers produce more fruit.
Thanks for the tip! I recently bought Trifecta from MIGardener. I am hoping that will help.
I stick my peppers in the freezer, until you get enough to can.
Thanks. I might try that this year.
Nice harvest ❤ try to stay cool. It's very warm out.
Jesus Christ is my personal Lord and Savior.I raised two akitas who are very loyal dogs that God allowed to bless me for years. The female lived 12 years and the male lived 13 years 4 months.I cannot put into words how God blessed my life with these dogs.I also know the comfort that God can give after such a great loss.A verse in the Bible that I believe can help to bring you comfort is Proverbs chapter 12 verse 10. There are others also.As you read this verse think about the kindness you showed your dog. This is a two part verse that shows a person's heart. The word of God is how I was able to overcome the grief and the Lord brought me joy.May God bless you.
Thank You. It's a good verse.
@lifelivedfrugally You are welcome may God bring you comfort.
Boomer surely imprinted your heart with his paws. 🐕🐕

I’m with you on this! Mulberries are so good. I bought 2 trees 4 years ago from big box store. This is the first year they have produced. It is beyond my wildest expectations. Me, my husband, the squirrels, all birds, raccoons, and possums are all enjoying these delectable fruits. The tree is loaded and keeps giving and giving. Of all fruit trees I have planted in my food forest, this one is my favorite!
I love mulberry ❤ i also grew up eating them. Unfortunately, I don't have a tree, but my old neighbor did.
Good variety of tomatoes! I will have to try some of these.
Did it not come with instructions I don't like getting things without instructions
Yes, it came with a sealed new instruction manual.
It used to be exceptional. Now it's just ok.
Thanks for the tip! I bought an Instapot knock-off at a thrift store that was originally sold for about $150 on a shopping channel. Absolute junk! The seal didn't seal, and it spewed all over my island countertop! At least I was only out $5, so I wasn't too mad. Now I only buy antique stovetop pressure cookers at thrift stores. I buy new seals and vents before using though. I make my dog's food in two 1930s era canning pressure cookers (huge!) so I can cook 15-20 lbs of chicken and organ meat at a time and freeze it. Not only cheaper than dog food, it's way healthier. I've gotten some good deals on eBay from sellers who are outlets for the brand they are selling. I like eBay because of their feedback system. If a seller has a high rating with lots of sales, I've never been disappointed. I bought a small bluetooth speaker from the Anker outlet for less than half of retail several years ago, and it was brand new in original (but opened) packaging. I love that speaker, incredible sound for such a small thing and I've dropped it several times, use it outside and it still works great! Unfortunately I can't buy from Amazon because I live off-grid 3 miles from the nearest paved road. Those Amazon vans won't drive down my rough dirt canyon switchback road and I don't blame them! Give your darling doggies a pet and a cuddle from me! Dogs make life better! Frugal is the way to live. As my Southern momma used to say, "I pinch a penny so hard it makes Lincoln holler!"😂
I also make home made dog food. My vet thinks it's a great idea. My lab in the video is about to turn 15 next month. Clearly something is working for him. I am also on board with pinching pennies. We were immigrants to this country and really struggled financially. We did by force and not by choice but now I do it by choice.
@@lifelivedfrugally That's wonderful! Your sweet yellow lab looks happy and healthy. My border collie is 13 and still plays. He sleeps a lot now, but the moment he hears my car keys, he runs to my car ready to ride. I'm retired and take care of my disabled adult son, so money is very tight. I've always lived below my means and that mindset has saved me. Nine years ago, my husband gave me an ultimatum; either I kick my mentally ill son out of my life or he would leave me. I told him "goodbye!" My son didn't ask to have schizophrenia, and he's a good person who is doing well now on meds. My ex is a drunk who abused me, so that was an easy decision. The only thing I miss is his income but I'd rather feel safe and be able to help my son. Channels like yours are wonderful! I learn new tips every day. I've learned to be a better, and smarter cook now that we rely on the food bank and have little money for food. I've become friends with a couple from Pakistan who have a wonderful store that sells discontinued and overstocked items at lower prices, and a few years ago they started selling imported spices and food from India and Pakistan. That opened up a whole new delicious world for me! The spices they sell are far superior to grocery store brands, and I'm trying things I've never heard of, such as black urad beans that are very nutritious and filling. I found out that ghee is wonderful for cooking and it lasts for a very long time in the fridge. Oops! Sorry, I didn't mean to write my life story. I get carried away! I subscribed and look forward to learning from you.❤
@@LazyIRanch I wish I lived near you. I am also from Pakistan and would love to shop at that store.
@@lifelivedfrugally I wish you did too! You would love the Chands, the couple who own the store. They are the kindest people I know. I met them 20 years ago when they were selling goods from a swap meet. I was thrilled when they opened their store about 10 years ago. I love talking to Mrs. Chand, and she's taught me about the medicinal uses for ayurvedic herbs they sell. Ashwagandha has been a life-changer! I have chronic depression and menopausal mood swings, but that herb has helped me feel normal again.
I have found some incredible items on Amazon Warehouse and Amazon Renewed. I tend to go there first. I have not had a bad experience so far.
I remember when MIGardner released those seeds - cool! I’m hesitant to grow tomatoes from seed, because my attempts at growing the starts has not been stellar. Lol Maybe this will be the year. 😁 Trying in containers.
Good luck!
That’s good to know. I work for an online retail company and we often receive things back that are unused but the manufacturer’s packaging is torn, etc so we can’t restock it. But we also get back items used or missing parts in its return, so I’ve been hesitant to try. Thanks for sharing - Will definitely have to remember this!
I hope the tomato plants produce lots of fruits.
You have a lovely garden.
Thank you. I learned something new! Great info from your videos!
What an awesome tip. I have never let the go to seed. I will now
Thank you for this information.
I have done that with my cabbages after harvest. Now I’m seeing some small pods (very tiny) from the beautiful yellow flowers. Thanks
Very nice set up! You seem to be doing things right! Looking forward to more! ❤️❤️❤️
Thanks. I learned how to propagate sweet potato plants.
Thanks for sharing an update. Congratulations on the robust results of your slips. I am also going to be using grow bags to grow sweet potatoes. This will be my first time growing them. I wanted to measure my harvest compared to the slips I planted in each bag. Good luck with your planting.
Thank you. My main reason for planting in grow bags is because they are so hard to find in my raised bed. I always feel like I left some behind. Happy Gardening!
I love the blue bags!
I enjoyed the video.
Thank you!
Some of their older stuff was good solid wood now it is mainly veneer over a corrigated. Their bags are great. Pretty much it is hit or miss buying there.
I have always been buying their kitchen items. I like to store my food in glass containers and they have some for reasonable prices.
@@lifelivedfrugallyit has been a few years since i have been to one. Very much out of the way for me. I have been thinking of going for some kitchen jars.
oh my goodness if your Ikea has it, I recommend buying their Daim chocolate cake. It’s ridiculously good I recommend buying 2 (one for you and the other one to share maybe) lol And you can try it in their cafeteria first just in case you might not like it.
Thanks. I will definitely look for it next time I am near IKEA.
You can give the sprouting plum tree a chance, for at least a year.
Thank you. That is what I thought I might do, but I am hoping that it will grow a little bigger so that I can identify the leaves as belonging to plums.
Hi, thanks for sharing your gardening experience! My garden and orchard are 2 years old, so I’m still waiting for fruit. There was a burst of growth this spring on all my trees…which was so exciting. I have a smaller space than you, but the whole area is cardboard sheet mulched….you could probably get free tree mulch from tree trimming companies. I guess I’m a “crazy garden lady “ cause my whole back yard is crammed with fruit trees and garden! Good luck, I just subscribed…you have a sweet voice!
Thank you so much for subscribing. I actually have had tree mulch dropped on my driveway. The problem was that I had to carry it by wheelbarrow to the backyard and ended up hurting my shoulder. I no longer do that so I just buy a couple bags of mulch to spread around the trees. I hope someday to have a even bigger piece of property so I can grow more fruit trees or find a property with the trees already planted. I hope you get some fruit this year. Enjoy the gardening season.
Tried both last year, this year I will only use the in soil technique.
👍👍
Will you show us planting the slips? Thanks so much!
I sure will. I normally plant them in May. Thanks for watching.

Very nice tips, very well explained Now I know why my sweet potatoes on water are not sprouting yet because they take a while when you use this method I normally just buy sweet potato tops from the Asian store and plant the stem New subscriber here
Thank you for making this video. I just started gardening last month. I planted onion, jalapeño and bell pepper, 18 seeds of each. I only need 3 plants of the peppers for my family of three. I am glad I found your videos so I can learn more about it. Thank you
Thanks for sharing!💜🙏🏼
I see is using bioslug from the sewer plant, She is eat hundreds of drugs flushed down the systems.
I enjoy your videos! Very well done, and loaded with useful info and tips! Today's economy being what it is we can all use ways to cut that budget. I look forward to watching more videos! 🥰
Thanks for the tip about the Amazon warehouse.
I am excited to try this. I tried once before but see that I gave up too quickly, and I’ll look for organic potatoes this time. (I’m glad your last video showed up in my feed. Subscribed.)
Best of luck. I hope it will work this time.
I’m learning a lot. I’ve started using my Walmart bags to put small trash items in. We don’t have recycling in my area and everything has to be in bags to be collected on trash day. I also have started using Walmart bags instead of using doggie bags to clean up after my dog.
I also use Walmart bags for my dogs. Unfortunately, my county charges us for shopping bags so I don't have too many. I am lucky to have a friend in a different county that gives me hers. Every little bit counts when it comes to saving money.
Wow!! So the ones you kept from last year are organic?
They are organic because I do not spray any chemicals ton food that I grow. It clearly makes a difference because they are already so big and the other two sweet potatoes are still slowly sprouting.
