honestly, that's a better use for that cutting board anyways
it throws me off how you have a white/beige/brown setup, randomly have a greenish monitor , and then add blue, purple, and teal wallpapers. it loses its synergy
@knowwon7342 you'll be pleased to know that my current setup is all white with wood accents, and I have a spectrum monitor instead of my mac 🙂

Hey, I can see you have commented the same questions twice rather than reading my answers to previous comments - please check for answers before commenting 😊 additionally, I tried out different wallpapers for the cover screen, some wallpapers interfered with the text for the thumbnail so I tried different ones that made sure the text was legible since YT thumbnails are very small. I really appreciate you taking the time to comment as it really helps me with the algorithm 🥰

It’s very comparable to the iPhone! You can film in 4K, I’ve still found the quality to be great for videos :) I would say it’s not quite as crisp as iPhone, but still really good ✨

I currently have the s22 ultra but im definitely wanting to switch to this maybe next year! Its sooo adorable and absolutely love the customisation so much. My only concern is the camera as the s22 camera is incredible with the amazing zoom too (like those iconic concert or moon zoom videos is just ugh 🤌😩) so im worried this doesnt have the same camera capabilities but hoping they might improve it a bit for the flip 6? But omg overall amazing video btw and im sooo jealous haha its adorable!! <3
Thank you so much! The camera zoom definitely isn't as good as the s22 ultra or 13 pro max (my previous phone), it starts pixelating around 2.5 zoom. But the camera is still really sharp, and can film in 4K!
its been 3 years since I've switched to Samsung from iPhone, better in any way, i used a a51 now i have a family member's old a52, but I'm getting the z flip 5 so i have a lot of videos of it popping up
Was the swap over from apples frustrating or straight forward. I have got stuck in apples eco system haha that’s the only thing stopping me switching
Totally understand about being stuck in the eco system, I had all apple products and really loved how they worked together! It was actually really straight forward, I was able to transfer my apps super smoothly, the only thing that I struggled with was getting my whatsapp chats over but I managed in the end. It takes a while to get use to the phone, and I miss things like airdrop but honestly I love this phone so much. Its so much more capable and intuitive than apple, and you get much more for your money!

Do you use an iphone and a z flip? I tried to switch but it didnt work out for me (i wasnt receiving my messagea). However, i love the z flip so much that i have 2 phones. I use the iphone for calls and texts only. Z flip for everything else
i would just keep it open the whole time and fold it when i need to
I am always dropping my phone so it's a great relief to me that I can fold this to give it more protection haha!

Hey guys, I'm currently using an older Smasung phone (I think it's the A5 from 2016...? The year is a fact, the model, dunno), and I want to buy a new one, since my current one is really laggy and only has 16 GB of storage (which are constantly filled up with so much stuff like backups and pictures (a few, I had to delete A LOT)). Aaaaand since I'm an easily influentable consumer, I thought about getting the Flip 5! But I've got to ask the people who already have it: Is the ridge in the middle annoying? Is the phone always closing smoothly? Should I really get it, or just rather stay with an normal smartphone. Because I would then probably go for an older one, since I prefer smaller models Thank you for your answers in advance❤
As a flip5 user, the crease is a little awkward at first, but you get used to it and it's not annoying. Kind of like how you get used to cracks on your screen, except the crease isn't that bad

How do you send videos since it’s not compatible via text message? This is my biggest issue and why I can’t commit to a full switch. My family and friends share a lot of things through video
Honestly, the only real solution is to send videos through a third party app like WhatsApp or FB Messenger. it has benefits even over Apple. The problem is getting family to use it. WhatsApp lets users send even longer videos than Either Apple or Android, and at great resolution.
I use WhatsApp now as all my friends and family use it :)
Android to Android you can send videos and images in high resolution through text message, it only doesn't work with iPhone but soon will as iPhones are adopting Android RCS texting
Is crease visible so much
It's really not noticeable at all, only when the screen is off or if your thumb goes over it

Did you manage to migrate all your WhatsApp chats? I use my iPhone for work and need to migrate these to my new Z Flip 5, but can't find a solution. 😭
Yes I did manage to migrate them all! It was a bit tricky, but I found a guide on WhatsApp official page that was really helpful!

The battery is great, mine was second hand so I can imagine that a brand new one would have even better battery life :)

For the video, please remove the blue light filter so in it the screen actually looks good. Personal use can be entirely different. Do it for the video.. Just some constructive criticism.

Why is the screen orange
I tint all my screens yellow to prevent my eyes straining, I get quite a lot of migraines so my ipad, phone and mac all have the screens tinted yellow :)

Isn't it too yellow?
I always set my phone screens to as warm a tint as I can in order to protect my eyes :) (I also do this with my mac and ipad)
