Never heard of James Casey until today and I’m glad I found him! Great tone, love the tenor sax! Thanks Mr Casey, I’m your new fan!
Sadly, he passed away August 28, 2023 at just 40 years old. I got to see him a good number of times with Trey Anastasio Band. The man is a beast on the sax. Super sad he's gone. But his music lives on. After his diagnosis, he finally recorded a solo album and it's definitely worth checking out! Pretty sure it's all available here on YT.
I hate cancer. I hope he is with a good people ❤

I was in a 10 and a half month battle and as of November 1, I am now NED (no evidence of disease) I was diagnosed from Stage 1 to Stage 3a after surgery found a tumor.
