Hello, thank you for watching my videos! I would recommend both, but I think it’s better to go to Shirakawago first then Hida no Sato if you have a spare time/days. Shirakawago is a huge area and takes time to travel from Takayama, so it will take one day long. Hida no Sato is smaller, it only takes about 2-3 hours inside the area.
Those side dishes was pretty delicious though 😃
terima kasih atas upload! i was rly trying to find halal hida beef options in takayama because none of em are halal haha in shirakawago 😭😭 any suggestions on where muslim can eat in shirakawago? i saw you went there as well but cant find the food shorts there.. thanks a bunch!
Hello, thankyou for watching my videos! As far as I know there are no “Halal” certified food in Shirakawago. But you can find Muslim friendly food there, for example Soba Noodles, Zenzai (Azuki beans porridge), Amazake, etc. I will upload Shirakawago vlog really soon 😊

I'm going to Kyoto next month (weekday, luckily) ..really hope it's not as busy as shown in your vlog T-T
It should be not that crowded (hopefully), but it’s better to come early if you want to go to famous places like Arashiyama or Fushimi Inari, etc. There aren't too many people, and you can take a good pictures there! Have a nice trip~

Yes! There are no bus on that route so we walk back to the city. It was a little bit far but the view was worth it!
