Are you using roto brush? if so you can adjust the brightness/contrast then mask it (I use Synthetic Apature - SA Colour Finesse 3 cos its close to what I use in vegas), use the refine edge tool after the initial mask (cos CG does well with it) and once your satisfied with how clean it is, click on a random point with rotobrush to have it active again, and then under the view theres a button that says freeze, click this and let it do the thing then you can turn off the brightness without it readjusting the mask, cos its frozen :) The vid was good tho, really awesome especially for a first try with AE

CG is harder than 2D but the accuracy should hopefully improve with this (its one fo the reasons I grew to love AE, it so easy once you know a couple of tricks and theres always more to know!!)

GENIOUS!Great manips, very matching coloring fitting the enivornment and the blur effect with the pink smoke chemical surrounding Raoul and Eugene was very interesting and creative. Perfect matching with the song. And the evil eyes were sooo creppy.So Raoul ended up drinking Eugene? O.O

God ! Raoul is really terrific ! Flynn murder is my favorite part in your mep, really impressive and you did a really good job with the manips and the masks. I really love Raoul's black eyes too. Really good job for your part. It's creepy and dark. Awesome >.<
