Tiger, King Kobra & many more at Jwalakhel Zoo - 2081-07-22 BS | Isaak Sharma aka Lokesh Lamsal
Welcome to my channel! In today’s video, I, Isaak Sharma (also known as Lokesh Lamsal), took a memorable trip to Jawalakhel Zoo with my close friends Anup Raut and Tilak Bajgain. Join us as we explore one of Nepal’s most fascinating destinations, filled with unique wildlife, scenic landscapes, and endless fun. 🐒🦁
Jawalakhel Zoo, also known as Central Zoo, is one of Nepal’s oldest and largest zoos, and it’s located right in the heart of Lalitpur. This place isn’t just a zoo-it’s a haven for wildlife lovers and anyone who appreciates the beauty of nature. From endangered species to native animals found only in Nepal, Jawalakhel Zoo is committed to educating visitors on conservation and the importance of protecting biodiversity. In today’s vlog, you’ll get to see some of these incredible animals up close and personal, including majestic leopards, curious monkeys, exotic birds, and more!
Our Adventure Begins
We arrived at the zoo on a sunny morning, ready for an action-packed day. After getting our tickets, we immediately set off to explore the various animal enclosures. Our first stop was the reptile house, where we got to see some of Nepal’s native reptiles. From pythons to rare lizards, each exhibit was unique and well-maintained, and we enjoyed reading about each species.
Exploring the Animal Kingdom 🐅🦅
The zoo is home to a huge variety of animals, including large mammals, colorful birds, and fascinating amphibians. One of the highlights was the big cat enclosure. Standing just a few feet away from these beautiful and powerful animals was truly awe-inspiring. The leopards and tigers seemed calm yet alert, and we learned a lot about their habitat, diet, and behavior. The zoo has informative signs that tell you about the animals, so we got to learn interesting facts as we walked around.
Next, we visited the bird sanctuary. The vibrant colors of the parrots, peacocks, and other exotic birds were a sight to see! They were chirping and flapping their wings, and we took a lot of photos to capture their beauty. Our friend Anup even tried imitating some of the birds’ sounds, and it was hilarious watching his attempts.
Fun Moments and Friendship
Tilak and I had some friendly competition along the way. We took turns guessing animal facts and trying to identify the different species. From laughing at each other’s guesses to posing for funny photos, every moment was filled with joy. Spending time with friends made this experience even better, and we captured each memorable moment for you to enjoy as well.
A Closer Look at Conservation Efforts
One of the things that impressed us most about Jawalakhel Zoo is its commitment to conservation. Throughout the zoo, we saw posters and interactive exhibits explaining how visitors can help protect endangered species. The zoo’s staff members were also incredibly knowledgeable, sharing insights into how they care for the animals and what they’re doing to support conservation efforts in Nepal.
Ending the Day with a Smile
After a long day of exploring, we took a break near the zoo’s pond area. We reflected on our favorite moments from the day, shared snacks, and took in the peaceful surroundings. It was the perfect way to wrap up our visit and say goodbye to all the amazing animals we saw.
Thank you for watching! If you enjoyed this video, please give it a thumbs up, subscribe, and comment below your favorite animal at Jawalakhel Zoo! We’d love to hear about your experiences if you’ve visited the zoo or any other wildlife sanctuary. Stay tuned for more vlogs and adventures around Nepal and beyond. Until next time!
