I would suggest fans on back sucking air in thru the side vents( and up from the bottom) and out the back. I have (6)5in fans( bolted to grills) on the back of my HI5 powered by their own deep-cycle ( sitting on battery tray mounted behind seat) and I feel zero heat anymore. Extra space on grill(s)sealed up with Gorilla tape. Slots on back corners I have sealed up with USA , Texas, and Don't Tread on Me flag magnet decals. In fact if it is a hot day I can stand in front of them with engine running and cool down there is so much air moving through there. Was about a $800 upgrade though( battery was $300 and will come in handy for other uses when needed: i.e. trolling motor , camping). Well worth it. I realize my set-up will not work with the back of this machine. Just wanted to say, mainly, to suck air thru and out, not push air in.

I just bought one . suggest taking the cushions out and remove the plastic wrap on the back side. mine was already starting to rust and mold from trapped water. bought mine at auction also 👍

I accepted an RCA position last week. How often will I be using my own vehicle? I have a 2010 NIssan Xterra. If I put the seats down it has plenty of space. I'm immediately going to be saving for a new vehicle because I currently have 195,000 miles on it and my driver's side window doesn't even roll down anymore lol. I can force it down but bringing it back up is a pain in the a**. Do you guys have tricks/tips for extra rainy days?

Never purchase a excavator with joysticks in front of operater . Jerky now and always will be. Hopefully you can get some resale value. Definitely not top of anything. Lowest

All you people on here complaining about using your own vehicles that’s why you get you a gas saver calculate the gas it’s takes to fill up and boom get to work rather you use your own vehicle are not I mean your vehicle could mess up going to the store are going back in fourth to work that’s why you save your money in case of these things I like the freedom of it

Man this job seems a little nicer than the city carriers. Been at FedEx freight for almost 10 years as a forklift driver but recently been looking into usps since the city position is 2 min away and rural opening is 5 min. Beats 45min driving to FedEx. Also burnt out on 3rd shift hours although the pay cut would be almost $10. But maybe better quality of life at usps?

What is the pay structure like... I saw a job posting and just couldn't imagine being told to come in during a schelduled time and being paid like a contractor at an hourly rate is what I saw...

I got the call from my new boss, to shadow for my new RCA position on Monday (a few days away). I was laid off from my office position of nearly 13 years, am almost 50, and am turning over a new leaf. I'm not stoked about only working 1 day a week for the unforeseeable future, but I think we'll be able to hold out. Thank you, Forrest, for showing such superb optimism and support for us folks who are experimenting with this new adventure that it seems most of us are, in a way, sharing.
