Too bad that the person representing the Greek population from the Greek islands is someone called Ali, who is obviously not Greek, but Turkish.. Also the background music is by famous Greek composer Stavros Xarchakos - but both the interpreter and the title appear in Turkish, which I cannot read, and not with the proper Greek titles and names. I am disappointed by whoever produced this. Let me guess: He/she was not Greek, but Turkish...

I used to go work on a sponge boat with my dad in the summers in Tarpon Springs. I tried going to the sponge docks on a trip to Tarpon Springs recently & cried. So many wonderful memories!

I used work on my Dads Sponge Boat in the Summer around the Tarpon area... When sponges come out of the ocean they stink, the most disgusting smell I've ever smelled! 😷
