Adam Ant performs Antmusic on ITV1 show This Morning
Forever obsessed with Adam. I don't know how his voice can sound better than ever and the arrangement sounds so fresh but it's true!
😚🤌
Amazing quality for 89!
*Umm, okay ... but this seems to go way beyond the ironic jokiness of even karaoke*
This song has always been kick ass to me anyway...im glad to hear it still sounds fresh off the press...
Absolutely FABULOUS! that's Adam Ant!
I remember this when i was a 11 years old. Im now 53, 80s music was the best music and so many amazing memories. Im so glad I was a part of that era. He is 60 here and he looks absolutely amazing. I want to know his secret even now at 69 he looks amazing.
Some people have the genetics. I've been told I look about 10 years younger than I am. It also probably helps that a 60 year old today isn't what a 60 year old was say 40 years ago. I'm slightly younger (50.....just) and the song I most remember him for is Stand and Deliver. TBH I can't remember if I heard/saw this one at the time. I've watched the original music video (it's on his YT channel) and it's got that familiar AA style that I remember, so maybe I did. I do remember him being on quite a lot at the time - I even had a poster of him on my wall. Think I got it out of Look In magazine. The original version of this song stands up very well btw. I think it's very catchy.
Actually if you watch the clips from his recent concerts, where he’s approaching 70 he still looks pretty good - not his age at all.
so hes a flamboyant pirate gothy wizard?
Adam's always been famous for dressing up in historic-themed costumes. Google pictures of him in the '80s, he wore a military jacket.
That kicked ass.. such a strong song.. musical and lyrical.. he’s the man
Been listening to the original quite a lot recently. Still stands up if you ask me.
Cant wait till 2024
the The OG Jack Sparrow.
Thanks for putting this up, roy fox
My fav Ant song is that voodoo performance live on the Ants tour uk 1982 🥰🥰🥰🥰and of course S.E.X what an absolutely stunning man he is ❤ 2:23
Saw them here supporting Killdozer. Great gig.
One of my heroes.
Very cool. There are trend setters, and then there's flollowers.. like Johnny Depp.
playback..euhhhh
Always a pleasure.
Before Johnny Depp there was ADAM !
I absolutely love this song timeless classic brilliant Stuart Goddard aka adam ant
Adam is fantastic whatever age he is! He's still an energetic professional performer,he's singing this live, great song, great rocker.
I was there . Got the audio tape a few weeks later at a record fair and still have it 33 years later. Thanks for uploading was a great night.
What a terrible singing
Not really
Where is this gig?
Love it! Love Adam, love the two drummers, love the song, love the performance, love the style! My only complaint, the rest of the band needs to up the fashion to match with Adam.
It’s not “Adam Ant and band” these days though is it. Technically he’s a solo act. That’s why it’s only his name on display.
am I too old to say. cute band mates.
never to late to say. I thought you were all that. still so cool
Fuckin lazy bass.....
Any idea how they’re being received by today’s young generation ? Put into context it’s like teens back in 1981 listening to music from 1940.
It's not really the same thing though is it. Pop music didn't even exist in 1940.
@@Bungle2010 well the Glen Miller type bands was the equivalent of today’s pop music, but back then target audiences were older teens and adults.
Such clever lyrics, and completely relevant in 2022!!🎶🎶🎶💖💖💖🧚🏻♀️🌷🍃
And he’s still fine as hell
And Steve Malley, unbelievable guitar player & songwriter..
Roy Fox - one of the greatest front men no-one's ever heard of.....
Played with these guys numerous times in the day - massively underrated, miss those times, good guys & scarily powerful at their best
Adam Ant , Thee Original Lovable swashbuckling scoundrel. LEGEND
The pressDarlings...
amazing
He was bigger than most bands
Youde be great without the hats
My older brother got the Ant logo tattoo across his chest from back in the day 😁
I hate that hes on the one show 😊 God speed anyway
Genius
Absolutely KILLER!! This is LIVE, no shite backing tracks or additional instruments. 4 excellent vocalists tearing it up. 🌹🖤🌟🖤🌹
Great performance , still have the 45 rpm - I remember my sis buying it for me , came home there it was on the table .1980 - yeahhhh.
Awesome! Fresh and brilliant. Adam Ant rocks! I'm 45 now, but when I was a kid, I once went to a party dressed as Adam Ant at the height of his fame. Always be a music legend to me, and a constant reminder of my childhood days in the 80's!
Looks a little bit like Captain Jack Sparrow here. He's aged well. Still a hottie!
Fuckin ANT MUSIC!!! still sounds bad ass even now I remember listening to this when I was just a sweet Lil pee... CHRIS 😝😝😝

Saw them a few times upstairs at the Broken Doll, mid 1980s. Might even still have their tape somewhere.
That version killed it like a Boss...i could definitely see this on SNL. Talk about reinventing.
