Owen Dennis - Gary vs David/The Synth Wars (Cover)
A separate upload of the cover I did for my previous video. Just a sick song from one of my favorite shows. Recorded entirely on my modular synthesizer (with some supporting pads done with the KORG Polysix)

Yamaha CS-15 - An Underappreciated Gem
Переглядів 3,6 тис.Рік тому
Picked this puppy up some months ago and recently got around to getting it fixed. While it may not be a Moog or an ARP, I think the CS-15 deserves some more attention because it certainly sounds great! 0:00 - Intro 1:50 - Synth Repair 4:32 - Feature Breakdown 9:05 - Sound Demo
Space - Magic Fly (Cover)

Its Magic Fly time. Recently fixed up my CS-15 and got a JX-3P on the cheap, so here's a cover that uses a little of both. Recorded on my modular, JX-3P, Korg Polysix and CS-15.
Johann Pachelbel - Canon in D (Synth Cover)

Although I've been busy with uni and a few other projects, I managed to find the time to slip in this little cover. I've always loved the idea of classical music recreated on synthesisers so thought id give it a try myself. Recorded using my modular, minilogue and polysix.
Building a DIY Keytar
Переглядів 4,1 тис.2 роки тому
I've always wanted to own a keytar but I don't really want to buy one, so why not add a personal touch and just build one? Here's a short build I did turning my broken Minilogue into a keytar.
Stranger Things - Kids (Cover)

Big fan of Stranger Things and with the release of season 4, I got inspired to do a cover of one of my favourites from the soundtrack. Mainly done using my Polysix but also utilises my modular synth.
Daft Punk - TRON Legacy End Titles Reconfigured (Cover)
Переглядів 2,8 тис.2 роки тому
Cover of the TRON Legacy End Titles song from Daft Punks Reconfigured album, remixed by Sander Kleinenberg. This is probably my favourite track of that album. All sounds are made with my modular synth and Korg Polysix (aside from the drums).
Harold Faltermeyer - Axel F (Cover)
Переглядів 8 тис.2 роки тому
Here's a cover of Axel F, one of the most famous synthesizer songs from the 80's and the theme from Beverly Hills Cop. For this cover I used the Polysix, Minilogue, my modular and a few Linn and Simmons drum samples for percussion. Don't mind the fuck up on the chords lol.
Hugh R - Just Dance - An 80's Style Dance Track
Переглядів 1,7 тис.2 роки тому
An original song I whipped up. Because if you think I'm going to buy a vintage 80's poly synth and not make an 80's style dance track your sorely mistaken. All sounds minus the drum samples are made on the KORG Polysix (obviously).
KORG Polysix - My First Vintage Synthesizer

Just shipped this 1980's polyphonic dream over from Japan and I couldn't be happier. 0:00 - Intro 1:23 - Synth Repair 6:33 - Feature Breakdown 13:01 - Sound Demo
Canned Heat - Going up the Country (Synth cover)
Переглядів 1,3 тис.2 роки тому
A quick little lower effort cover of Canned Heats Going up the Country using my modular synth, Minilogue and some Oberheim DMX samples.
Daft Punk - Technologic (Cover)
Переглядів 6 тис.2 роки тому
Thought I'd try something a little different this time and do a Daft Punk cover including some vocals and guitar work (despite the fact I cant play guitar). Specifically this is a cut down cover of the Alive 2007 Touch It/Technologic remix (my preferred rendition of Technologic).
HOME - We're Finally Landing (Cover)
Переглядів 5 тис.3 роки тому
A simple cover with a good atmosphere to it. Made with my modular, Poly D and Minilogue. 707 samples were used for percussion.

The Beatles - Let it be (Mini synth cover)
Where can I buy your music?
A regular show vibes
17:36 A glass synth sounds like it would be cool as heck (and I'm 90% sure there are some that exist or that people have modified to have glass panel faces) but it sounds incredibly annoying to build and most importantly, to transport. Unless you use impact resistant glass (which is gonna make the project way more expensive) moving it anywhere is gonna be a nightmare.
This is absolute Fire! Comes really close to the original Tone!
How did you make your scale stencil for your front panels? I’m finding my front panel graphics to be the biggest issue for me.
Why do your hands look so small?
bro id give you head for this fr
Idk why i felt that..
Woooow es como el la caricatura idéntico 😱🎶🎶🎶
Goosebumps immediately you are fuckin amazinggg!!!!
love this its beautiful!!
fucking amazing
Good job, really enjoyed it. You have great playing skills and some great synths too ❤
Nothing impossible through music
HUGHHH POST MORE CONTENT AND MY SOUL IS YOURS
Good 👍🏻❤❤😊
Impressive DUI project. Actually loved It.
Playing this at my handfasting 🤘🏻
amazing!
Bellissima complimenti sei stato molto bravo
Nothing sounds more futuristic than 80s synth music. This song is awesome, the Regular Show really outdid itself with this masterpiece
It's not 'the'
Them was trying to be futuristic
If this is not the future music, then the future isn't worth it.
Very Relate
nice🔥🔥🔥
There used to be always 1 🔥🔥🔥
Great video and sums up my sentiments exactly. The CS-15 is criminally underrated! Mine also came from Japan in a blue lined case when I was back in Aus. There are things this synth can do like a layered sound within a sound using the 2 channels independently, something that a Minimoog, ARP Odyssey, Pro-One, Oberheim OB-1 cannot do. It can also be played truly duophonically via a sequencer like Korg's SQ1 or Kenton MIDI 2000 using the individual channel keyboard and gate jacks, like having a duophonic CS-5. Modulation wise it is closer to an ARP Odyssey with individual depth controls for each module except an envelope depth control for the PWM. The flexibility of being able to operate this synth as 2 independent CS-5's, a dedicated 2 Osc-2 filter-2 VCA synth, and anything in between is its Ace card over the usual renowned mono synths. Coming from a Moog/ARP/Roland mono synth background the CS-15 was quite a revelation and one of those "how did I miss this?" moments. I admit the first sound I tried was the Bladerunner intro complete with pitch bend fall into a Strymon Blue sky reverb pedal.
Fantastic!
Classy! ❤
least wobbly keyboard stand <3
Love the tower setup you got, amazing cover.
Super gemacht 😊
Needs more views, this is beautiful
Dope, brother.
This video has 15k views now, but I’m quite confident it will gain more attention somewhere in the future
Great cover
So goooood
Bravo !
Excellent.
Great memories with the Magic Fly (1977) song! Great video! Thank you!
Que no muera esta obra maestra
Could someone pls help me? I’m considering making a 5U MU style modular synth but I can’t find any info on making a power supply and such for such a synth. Can someone please provide some information regarding this issue?

How did I mis this video? Great project! What a cool modular you put together!

I like it better when played at 1.1x
Here, hear @toastyriceball’s “UNDERRATED!!!” Comment!!!
Oh man! Tell me about the process for the arrangement please.
This (and the RAM walk-thru) deserves likes and subscribes! Love the choice and the performance. Can’t wait ‘til the video where you’ve lugged the beast to do some live sets!!!!!
