Hi Eric! Great video and you’ve given me hope. I have the Zwift Ride (ZR) bundle. I’ve tried this technique but when I try to connect my ZR using the network connection it doesn’t appear. My setup is an Apple TV connected via WiFi down in my garage. Unsure if that matters. Any advice? Thanks!

Hey Zwift Insider, I have just completed this route today. I thought there was a glitch in Zwift as screen started shaking. Good effect thought. 🙏

Finished it this morning , thought my connection was being lost when everything started to shake and get little weird . But fun and different in a good way .

Plans that say for example 1hr/week. Does the plan tell you which days or could you ride every day and finish it earlier if you wanted to? Do you need to do anything to figure out your FTP prior? I'm brand new

I had the play controllers for over a year and had no idea I could do virtual shifting with my Core. I thought I needed the COG ⚙️ 😅

Come off it zwift get rid of this ==== If you drop back in a race at a certain distance zwift will hold you back from joining back on you only have to look at the watts you are putting out and not gaining on the bunch why does Zwift do this. In the pack they were putting out around 130 watts and I was putting out nearly 180 watts and made no gain. Don't tell me this is not happening I know it is I have noticed it in the pace groups as well I thought it was just the pace group that did this and not in a race.

are you using a Zwift cog? or just a regular cassette ? when using virtual shifting

I have a Directo xr is that compatible to switch shift. I am having trouble pairing it. I am using apple play.

The ×2 10 min ftp efforts are the worst part of this workout

Sorry but my wahoo kikr core can on 1 bluetooth channel record power/resistance/cadence. Then on the 2 channel the heart rate...so the problem would only be with control zwift ride?

Tough week I lost race points this week, strong riders came out and banged out some serious watts!

My click is out of batteries and I stripped the screw. Until I fix it is there a way to virtual shift without a controller or click?

Did my first tiny race today. I had no idea it would be as hard as it was. Great series!

I completed my first ride yesterday and I can confirm that my Apple Watch 7 (WatchOS 11) worked perfectly as a Heart Rate monitor on the dashboard in Zwift 1.74.2 on AppleTV 4K 3rd Gen (tvOS 18). I had the Zwift Companion app opened on both my iPhone 13 Pro (iOS 18) and my Apple Watch. You can see the pre-ride Apple Watch connection in my video by searching for “New Zwift Ride & Rockr Pro Pain Cave”.

Sandbaggers as always...Giant group to the end and most have enough in the tank hold 1000+ watt sprints the last quarter mile, haha

Thanks! My Zwift Ride Smart Frame and Kickr Core Zwift One have arrived, so I’ll be setting them up when my Apple TV 4K & Vizio 43” 4K TV arrive today. Rockr Pro rocker plate arrival TBD. Being new to indoor cycling (<1y outdoor), your video is very helpful to me. Am I correct in assuming Zwift will display the heart rate from Apple Watch via the companion app?

Which power source from the Kickr are you using Eric? I have the latest version of the Kickr Move but virtual shifting doesn't show up in my settings (I also have the zwift play controllers connected)

No Apple Watch :(

Not sure if you referred to it in the video but I would like to see average w/kg not just the current. From what I’m able to find, only after a race in Zwiftpower can one find that number. I would like to see that number as I’m riding to ensure I’m maintaining or at least pushing a little harder.

Is this update not available on Apple TV yet?

I've done 2 of these same races. Race #1 I got 4th, with 404w NP. Race #2 I got 1st with 376w NP. Tough finish on this course for a 95kg sprinter like me!!
