Yo, hears a couple of tips coming from a solo player who had to learn the Ferryman by himself. 1. Healing - You can place campfires in the arena to heal. The best times to heal are when he is spawning clones in the first phase, and right after any move in the second (as long you aren't right beside him). I would also recommend running Bloodless gems on most mantras. 2. When/How to attack - In the first phase, there is not a lot of time to attack him before he teleports away. Ranged moves won't trigger that which is good for when he spawns clones or if you mess up the all three parries on his Lightning Assault move. In the second phase this is best after he uses his Grand Javelins, since he will always teleport away if you get to close. For the rest of his moves you just want to slide jump roll run straight at him and spam attack once you get close. For parrying I recommend watching a tutorial, especially for the Lightning Because the parry timings change in the second phase and you MUST parry all 3 hits so he won't teleport away. Practice also helps. 3. Talents + Other - The two major Talents I recommend for Ferryman are Spine Cutter and Carnivore. When you are getting hits of him roll cancel behind him then hit him to proc it as much as possible. You can start off the fight behind him and immediately roll cancel and swing twice to get a good lead. Carnivore fills you're hunger and thirst every time you kill one of his clones, which allows you to farm longer with more inventory space. Additionally, I would recommend cutting the tree that's right behind you and the Ferryman before fighting since it clears space and gives wood for more campfires if you beat him. Those are just some of the tips I can think of off the top of my head. For progressing I would say Ferryman is the best boss because going solo he takes like 3-5 minutes and I usually farm him at power 16+ since he give a LOT of XP (Takes me like a day to max out a build), Gives Bell XP, and if you go in the spring, gives you 1 knowledge every time you talk to him after beating him. Plus you don't have to deal that much with other players trying to mess with you.

Hey, ima give you some tips, you should roll cancel and stop predicting the parrys, only parry when they're hitting you, also dont panic when you're getting comboed, let them hit you once and then parry, also use feint into crit or m1, u can also feint into silentheart uppercut

Yo ur getting better at reaction parrying rather than predict parrying, also remember to hold block more (when ur roll cancel is on cd), theres a reason that godseekers use 40 to 50+ posture builds. Also, just keep in mind awareness not only of the fight, but also of the surroundings, like when you were fighting the specter path user and was in the white area of the arena, you were forced to predict/read his body or sound cues cuz his attacks basically blended in with the background, which also made it harder to parry (losing like two bars). The same applies for something like crypt blade visionshaper in realm

you should use ardour scream w/ shrine of order it really helps.

Whenever u hit like 2 m1’s in a row especially in a punishment roll cancel backwards to predict vent then aerial attack to proc wyvrens claw this one tip got me to 1000 elo also don’t forget to dodge nemesis kyrscleave and crypt twisted puppets (these guys are super annoying)

A couple things i noted from this video and the last one that could help you are Venting more often, especially in the clip with the cbow guy where you got comboed really hard, a vent couldve really saved you there Uppercutting, its a bit of a gap closer because it pushes you forward a bit, also enables you to keep your enemy closer to you Movement, while you are aware of having to roll cancel, and you do slide, movement around the arena is also really crucial, a stationary playstyle can work but its better to move around your enemy, especially in chime Thats about all i can give you, if i played silentheart i would try and help more, good luck in getting to 800 elo :)

When someones using the crit with the nemesis enchant (the guy in the first clip) dont parry the moment they use it, because it has a slight delay when they use the crit, count 1 really quickly in your head and then parry, it should be a guaranteed parry

Yo, a good way to get used to fighting many of these mobs is to practice the Trial of one until you can consistently complete it. It also really helps with getting a feel for the combat in this game too.

except the parry issue, the biggest problem is not roll canceling, its so useful if you have leaf in the wind talents

im top 100 in chime currently and tbh with you your weapon isnt good u should use a better medium weapon like spears or purple cloud because kyrsblade isnt good with silentheart

2:16 tip for that enchant: ppl will always try to crit after they m1 you, so if you get hit, prepare yourself for that slick crit, you can parry or even better dodge with roll cancel and hit, they are stuck at the animation

Some tips. If you want to dodge the thunder rain move just hold S in both phases. First phase lighting assault move you just need to get used to the parry timing, second phase if you parry the first hit 2nd hit is automatically parried and 3rd hit you have to parry it yourself. If he turns around or he stays with his back to you this means you can hit him a few times before he teleports. When you can hit him for longer than normal you should try using relentless flames first and then m1. There are 2 moves where he gives you time to heal, during and after clones is the first one and after he used grand javelines is the second (hold A or D to dodge them). why bros friend is dawnwalker and not doing the dawn spining move i forgot the name , its a good mantra and it give i frame for ferryman idk why your friend didn't use it but anyway gg man for learning ferryman , personally i prefer mage build for ferryman , for exemple i got a build that can 3 shot him with shadow seeker

dude you should definitely use konga's clutch ring, makes sliding go much further
