Unfortunately a year after having it I ended up getting a sky one touch hard top and sold it so I am not sure about how it did over time. But when I sold it it was pretty much new, the only thing I needed was better double sided tape.

No not at all, this was a factory top for a Jeep Jl 2018 and up. If you want a powered top the best option would be a mytop softtop or whatnot will be called in the near future Besttop etop.

Yeah I have thought about that, but the honest truth is that it would cost money and I am not made of it. As for the ride heights, I believe their kit is able to drive on two of the preset and it's designed for that.

That's what I thought, lucky I now have the new ones.

Not sure, It's the IC version which includes the chasing light features, where I believe the first gen might not have.

Yeah I did notice that they had a 2.5k resolution rear camera but I haven't tried it out. I have tried a 2.5k resolution camera before on one of the other systems I had. It was better. I don't know if it was mind-blowing. I still think that these systems need a 4K resolution and I'm hoping in the near future that pelsee might actually have one come out. I would say if 200 bucks is in your budget go ahead and get the 2.5k one. I'm sure it will be better than the 1080p.

With a 12" you have to turn the mirror to get the visor to come down. Not a big deal but something to consider. With the 10" you don't really have that issue.

You might need to turn on the wifi. And not sure why you didn't get a verification code.

Not really because you can actually adjust the brightness of the screen so it tends to cancel out the reflection so works pretty good in majority of the lighting I haven't really noticed anything that would bother me

Yes it will definitely fit work gloves. There's tons of room in them. As for the legroom, honestly it doesn't affect anything. I was just driving around with it and I didn't even notice I had them there. They really don't get in your way at all. The only thing I just noticed is that when you have the door closed it's actually kind of hard to access your lumbar and make adjustments so you'd actually have to do that with the door open. But that's not a big deal cuz I don't tend to play with that anyways.

I didn't notice them being sharp, but I could see that. As for getting things in and out, that shouldn't be a problem I can get my fingers to the bottom of them easily. Thanks for the feedback, I am definitely going to look into those.

They should, there is a bunch of room between them and the seats.

Hey have you ever tried any locking hood latches for your jeep ? I just purchased these off Amazon Seven Sparta Hood Latches with Lock Aluminum Locking Hood Catch .

@dunnoyolo2238 I was just looking at some but didn't end up purchasing them, might need to try some out soon.

@@evolvedjeepin this one purchased is nice. Only problem was bolts to mount it can be faulty threads went bad when tightening up and couldn’t get it tightened or un tightened have on it. Had to drill bolt out on one mount. Ended having to order replacement and tried out all bolts off brackets first and put ant-seize on all bolts and worked fine.

I mean there is no reason you couldn't do it.

Pelsee actually offers the same system but in a 10", which will allow you to flip down the visor. They are the only company that offers their mirrors in two different sizes.

Yeah I didn't measure the length, but you are correct it probably more like 12+ feet to get to the back of a full size truck. Yes the red wire is a sensor wire that is used to tap into the reverse light to trigger the back up assist lines. But on this unit I don't believe it has the reverse lines I didn't notice in the features. Possibly that is because it has the smart features. Possibly if you attach that it will simply just trigger the rear camera.

Unfortunately, I don't think they make this system for 2 door.

Unfortunately yes, all 12" mirrors don't work on Jeep Wrangler JLs or Gladiator JTs. But lucky they offer a 10" version which works just fine. The 12" is not really that big of a deal, all you have to do is turn the mirror to the side and then pull down the visor and turn the mirror back. So it's up to you if you want the 12 or 10.
