Hemophiliac Adventures
Приєднався 12 січ 2025
I am a 40 year with old severe hemophilia. I got into hiking and nature a few years ago and it changed my life. I started videoing my adventures and created this channel to share them. Just kind of documenting my life and sharing wisdom gained from my experiences as well as sharing the beautiful scenery along the way. You never know where I might end up, and you never know how strong you truly are until you put yourself to the test. I did most of these adventures solo with no medication, I have been using nature and rage to manage my hemophilia the past few years because of our garbage healthcare system.
I hope that you enjoy the videos as much as I enjoyed the journey. Thanks for watching. I love you all.

A brief paddle at Time Ford lake. I was looking for the cave that you can paddle into, but I think it was across the lake. I am gonna have to go back and find it one day.

Cane Creek Canyon Nature Preserve Time-lapse 8/11/2024

Time-lapse of my first trip to Cane Creek Nature preserve. The falls were not flowing, but it was still a really nice hike. The trails are really easy to follow and most are gravel. It is a very cool area to explore. It is on private property though, you have to be out of there at 5 I believe.
Pickwick Chalk Mine Trip 6/15/2025

This is the footage from my trip to the Chalk mine at Pickwick lake. Most of the paddling footage got blocked by my life jacket and I did not have enough light for the gopro inside the mine, so the footage is pretty dark. It was a cool spot, that paddle was rough though, that water is like soup. The mine also has broken glass everywhere, I had to be super careful in my barefoot shoes. So if you...

That is so true 👍
Beautiful place
Love this reminds me of down home
Forget the dang truck!! Whats up with that creepy doll staring at you. I'd be running faster than that truck could drive. For real. I'm sure it's a prank but still.
That was a dog, she was protecting those kittens as they were in the woods. She was a sweet dog, she came up to me first when I got out of the truck. She had a collar on her and there is a house down in that hollow behind that trail, so she probably belonged to them. She thought I was leaving and went back to her spot to be the lookout.
what worries me about well known small tunnels or caves is assholes booby trapping it somehow. when i was 12 me and my friends would be focused on doing that.
I have never really thought of that. I am pretty careful, but if something like that ever happened, I would probably be very skeptical of going into any others ones. I just happen to come across this spot. I was on my way to scottsboro for the night and saw this trail on my all trails app when I made a stop at that wildlife sanctuary not far from there, so I decided to go hike this one instead as the name sounded really cool. The trail did not disappoint. You can go around that tunnel if you want to. The locations of the places that I go to are pretty far out in the woods or off the beaten path a good ways usually, so even though the names may be fairly well known, they are usually rather difficult to get to, so predatory activity like that is less likely when in rough terrain areas. For people to do stuff like that, you have to be really bored and it needs to be easily accessible. Any tunnels that are easy to get to, I am very skeptical about going in, but the ones that are out there and hard to get to, I am not so skeptical as you work to get there to see what is inside.
🙏
Damn bro you good? Sounds like youre on the verge of hyperventilating
@@stephanieann6622 I breath heavy, plus I just climbed up a mountain. I have to go into a pretty insane space to get this stuff done, and live in such a deep space anyway, that the deep rhythmic breathing helps push me forward. It is like a concentration thing I do, focus on my breath, focus on staying alive. It is how I overcome fear. Plus I smoke cigarettes as well, so that is not going well in my favor on the hills. Of course I smoke them to keep my mind off the pain and on something else. So I am quite a paradox, but I assure you there is a reason for everything and not a single excuse for anything.
@HemophiliacHiker well as long as you weren't having some medical emergency lol I know nothing of the area so I didn't know there was a Mountain or anything. Congratulations for making it past it!
@@stephanieann6622Yeah that was mostly me breathing through a state of shock. I will post the full GoPro footage of the cave when I get home. Then you should be able to see all the stuff we had to climb. I do apologize for the heavy breathing though as it gets on my nerves too, it is something that I am gonna address. Just trying to provide realistic and authentic content to mainly entertain myself with when I am not able to do this kind of stuff anymore. As it blows my mind that I am doing it now.
your brave man i could never do this
@@riceandfries_again I cried after this trip because of how much fear I overcame to get this done, it was overwhelming, but this is something that I have always wanted to do. I was just scared of how bad it would hurt, but I had complete faith in myself to get it done. I am so proud of myself for this one, words just can’t describe.
Nice ass shoes❤
Reminds me of my own youtube shorts, trying to edit 20+minutes of beautiful nature into 1min until everything's moving at the speed of light 😄
@@ChyannahMongata Yeah it is really hard to cut down the videos as you miss so much. Most of my shorts are edited by my GoPro app and my Google app. They do a pretty decent job. Impossible to get it all in though, impossible to capture that beauty on camera really. I usually keep the GoPro on the whole time I am out because I like the first person pov, so I always have tons of video afterwards. I had two camera going on this trip, this is the short created y GoPro from the Timelapse. I am gonna upload the full video when I get home and make some better shorts.
@HemophiliacHiker interesting! Never thought of doing it that way before. That's pretty sweet

Looks more like that wasp is laying eggs in that spider than eating it
@@bunnyhyzen I was thinking a hornet was a bee, but I guess it is a wasp. I thought it looked more like a big yellow jacket. Not real sure why I have been calling it a bee, could be cause he beez in that spider lol. I am not sure what it was doing, but that would make more sense than eating the spider. It was just a wild unexpected scene that I come across. I am very easily amused.
Are those really small rocks or is that a massive spider
@@TheCurlyfryBaggins It was a pretty big spider, looked like a tarantula. I think it was a big wolf spider. That bee was going to town on it though.
@ never seen a wolf spider anywhere close to that big where I live, pretty creepy
@@TheCurlyfryBaggins Yeah it was the craziest thing I had seen.
