My Mazda Rx-7 Sat for 23 Years.... Will it Start?!
I bought a mazda that sat for 23 years. It wasn't driven or started at all during that time due to a supposed electrical issue. We try to figure out what that was and see if this car will actually start. Wish me luck!

How To REBUILD and REJET Kawasaki Keihin Carbs for (Pod Filters): Kz750 Café Racer Build Part 13
Переглядів 54910 місяців тому
Learn how to clean, rebuild, and rejet your Kawasaki Keihin carbs. It not a difficult task. It is time consuming and tedious though. I rejeted the carbs for pod filters and a new exhaust, but if you're keeping everything the same, just follow the rebuild process. If you have any questions fell free to ask. Hope this helps! 1980 KZ750 LTD Café Racer Part 10: The BEST Custom Electronics Tray
Переглядів 295Рік тому
We made the BEST electronics tray for my 1980 KZ750 LTD H. To me, this electronics tray checks off all the boxes when it comes to function, form, and convenience for maintenance. It's non intrusive, holds everything you need, and can bolt in and out if you ever want or need to change it up. I don't see how it could get any better. It also utilizes the battery box function as well. No need to mo...

1980 KZ750 LTD Café Racer Build Part 7: Complete Teardown
Thanks for subbing to my channel for the KZ750 content. I hope yours is still going strong. Mine is stored for the UK winter.
This has to be somewhere in Northwest Jersey
i wish i had a drivers license to get a a nice japanes car to enjoy but were i live it expensive. (im from germany btw)
did it ever start ?😅
I know this is late but i'll put it here if somebody finds this tip usefull: if you have found a way to pressurise the intake, you can spray soapy water and watch for bubbles to find the leak. Finding exhaust leaks same princible but no need for fancy tools: you put a rag in the tailpipe when it's running and spray soapy water.
thank you man, 2 years later and the video is still useful. Legend
Extremely useful video, thanks for this! The parts and process was exactly the same for my 06 WRX rack. Probably the same for all 04-07 STI and 06/07 WRX.
The hum on the audio isn't feedback, it's 60Hz which has probably been introduced when you connected your camera to your editing platform. You either had a ground that wasn't connected or a ground loop between your camera (or phone) and your editing platform.
I've seen people just brushing them with an old toothbrush to fluff them up again.
Would you mind sharing the model of the steering rack, is it perhaps a koyo V?
Hey bro, Thank you so much for this. I’ve got a 1995 GF1 EJ15 base factory spec. I now know how to permanently fix the scratches on the glass. I’ve also set some JBL speaker on the front door but there’s a tonne of vibrations, is that normal, it’s not the door, I removed the door cards and tested, it still had a tonne of vibrations. Any ideas or help would be awesome!
@@PrageethManimendra if it’s not the speaker I couldn’t tell ya. How do you get the scratches permanently off though?
Bro mind sharing from where you bought these parts? Its about time for me to replace the valve cover gaskets and spark plug seals.
Good video . Thanks for posting this . Do you still have your Subaru ? Looks like you spent some serious money on some engine mods. Just changed the oil on my 'new' used car and the oil smelled a little different and looked very thin during the drain despite using 0-20 weight oil . For now , I'll just monitor it before taking it into the shop. One almost have to have octopus arms to reach the plugs on my car , but it gives me confidence since the procedure is do-able as seen on YT.
I can't even take this channel serious. Destruction of someone else property or valuables is childish at best. What to do better is to make a fresh start and delete the dumb antics. Get rid of the video.
Exactly what I was thinking
Dang trucks in the way
I just replaced my cv joint, 2007 outback. It was ripped, making a loud screeching machine like sound. I still got the old part. Would doing this make it drivable? That noise was kinda bad thinking its a gonner?
@@moy6569 mine hadn’t made any noise. If it’s making noise it’s probably gone
good job man !
What about in motorcycle
@@jodiehighroller9820 honestly no idea lol

@@Finzr that just made my day lol thank you!
Almost exactlythe same as my car, stood for 23 years, fuel pump, injectors, alarm system problems along with flooding but I got mine running too. Good luck 👍
Im rebuilding one currently but just a manual system rebuild.
I have repaired a couple sets of Keihin carbs with broken fuel screw housings by hacksawing away the damaged carb fuel screw surrounding metal and then using epoxy and a short piece of Aluminum tubing that has been drilled and tapped for the fuel screw (fuel screw, spring, o-ring assembly.) This fix worked very well and was cheap. Sometimes steel springs get rusted into this housing or screws are so corroded into this area they cannot be removed. Also when rebuilding carbs their are 2 other holes adjacent to where the tip of the fuel screw comes through that need to be cleaned with a needle / spray. The three holes are visible when you move the throttle flap. Broken out aluminum at the jets can also be repaired with a piece of aluminum cat food can and epoxy.
Hows it holding up
@@michaelwood3753 workin, no leaks
Everyone, save yourself hours of frustration and just buy the $80 Company 23 ball joint removal tool
The Japanese paperwork you see is the build sheet for the vehicle as it made its way down the assembly line in Hiroshima
Awesome. Dude your engine is a EJ20G or EJ20K? there is difference between the heaers from EJ20G, EJ20K, EJ205 and EJ207?
Ej20g. There’s no difference in the headers
Another good video
dude was definitely adding oil to the gas before you got it.
He didn’t seem like the guy who would but I would hope so regardless. With a fresh motor I bet the omp was working perfect last time it ran
Dude you had your work cut out with this RX-7! Great job bringing it back to life.
I definitely did haha. Thank you sir 🤙🏽
W Vid got my sub
Hell yeah! There will be more content soon enough!
Was that Scotty kilmer we hear at 2:47?
Haha no. That was my mailman Duke that’s been delivering mail in our area for longer than I’ve been alive. Great guy.
I recently got my timing belt and a service and now my engine oil smells like petrol
My hotrod kz 750 runs a 46 tooth rear sprocket and a 13 tooth front. with carbs right and valve shims right....will lift front the front wheel off the ground cracking the throttle at 4000 rpm without using the clutch. drive safe, and courteously.
That sounds pretty wild. I’m not aware of the stock sprocket sizes but I’ll definitely look into that. Same to you!
Cool
My first real sports car was an s4 FC and I loved it. Countless days of removing sparkplugs, to turn it over and unflood the car at highschool trying to get home🤣 After the fc I got a vr4 3000gt, and after that I bought my dream car, a z32 300zx TT. All cars were awesome in its own way though!
I agree for sure. The fc has its own little perks and all those cars are unique in their own ways.
Shout out to Westminster PA
Never been haha
Very good find ! Good luck with the restoration
Looking forward to seeing what comes next!
Such a good deal brotha!.. First thing I’ll do is squirt some atf in the engine and let it soak a few days before you start it. That should free up any stuck seals and carbon.
Already done. She spins by hand like butta!
Thanks for the video! I have an 07 Forester XT - the boots wear out being so close to the Downpipe! Aftermarket axles are total crap, and the replacement is $560 or something last I checked. Found a guy when I was living in Houston who rebuilt all the axles for the dealer and I did a swap for $50. Moved up to Seattle and looks like I’ll be on the hook for the job this time. Thanks for making it look manageable!
My pleasure, that’s what I made the video for. Good luck ! 🤙🏽
nice vid mate
You don’t show where you applied the jb weld and just keep showing the fitting. Where do u apply the jb weld ??

Nice work
Wow this really helped
note the race and ball assembly typically falls apart, I believe the race goes behind the ball assembly and only with wear does it slip on over the front.
you all should be brought up on charges of unlawful entry and destruction of property.
Hugely helpful, thanks. So many of the writeups online made this sound so much more complicated!
They go bad beacuse the industry uses that shitty black moly grease. Im gonna do a build using MOBIL 1 SYNTHETIC RED GREASE.
