The Nine-Tailed Fox does know that Minato is dead, right? What he's looking at isn't the real Minato, but a part of him that came with the sealing jutsu. Basically, he doesn't need to "rip Minato to shreds", since he's already dead. Plus, if you think about it, being sealed inside Naruto worked out better than he could've imagined.
