They act like in the video that he’s just some freak string guy that was all heart. You should watch the “real rocky” breakdown of him. The dude was incredibly smart and his unorthodox technique was brilliant and is still copied today.

A lot of people fail to notice that before Joe Louis fought Rocky, he had just come off 8 incredible wins in a row, with top heavy weight boxers, but watching their fight, I ended up feeling so very sorry for Joe for the horrible destruction Joe received In the ring. And the Champion Joe's comments after the fight, show what a beautiful humble human being he was.

What's truly amazing is that he fought at his natural weight. He would even eat a steak and drink a huge glass of water before weigh in to make weight. He was smaller than all of his opponents. Some guys can cut 20 lbs.. so on fight night, his opponents were often 6 inches taller and 25 lbs heavier than him.. and he would beat them to near death in under 4 rounds.. he knocked out 2 different fighters with liver punches

Rocky Marciano what to say truly my Goat. It's said he fought old men, well he was old when he started at 27 and lost his prime fighting for our country in the service. Charles was not old when he fought him who most believe is a top 25 boxer all time. The mongoose went on to fight like 40 more fights after his fight with Rock, he might have been older but his prime was in his later years anyways. Lestarza was a very good boxer as well younger then Rock. Tbh not many fighters have had as good a resume. He fought Lewis top 5 all time, Walcott a top 20 heavyweight, Charles a top 25 boxer all time and maybe the greatest light heavyweight ever, Archie Moore another all time great and Lestarza a very good boxer.

My dad saw this fight. He said he couldn’t believe Marciano made it to the 13th. He told me Walcott was just beating the crap out of Rock. But he put Walcott to sleep for the rest of the year
